I see Jedah as kind of a mix of Mags and Dorm. Very rough comparison, though.
Now that Cable’s about to become relevant in comics again, what do you guys think our chances are of Cable DLC in the future?
If we got Cable as DLC it’d be awesome if not only for the nostalgia/salt factor. I’d love for AHVB to remain an integral part of Mahvel lingo.
I feel like Megaman (probably classic) is sort of inevitable, but I see why they didn’t use him because honestly his legacy mechanics from MVC2 were kind of boring and didn’t adhere to the current design where characters are supposed to play like the games they come from. Honestly I could go either way on the whole thing, I grew up loving the old NES games but I’m not gonna get all angry at videogames if they leave him out.
My personal big pick would be Venom though. I don’t really get the whole concern over the Antivenom thing, I mean yeah he’s the current version of the character but either way they’d be guaranteed to have an alternate color for classic/antivenom regardless of whatever version they went with so it’s not like that matters unless someone really cares about the guy wearing the suit. Not to mention that Venom would give us another high-health character, another rep for Spiderman, and another character with lots of weirdness and transformations and tentacles rather than the standard punches and kicks.
Wait is it wishlist season again?

Just because theres a Heroes and Heralds card of a character, doesn’t mean they won’t be in the game in some form at least. For example, Servbots with Tron and Megaman X being 2 DLC costumes.
This seems reasonable. Except Nitsuma said that he wanted to at least equal 56 characters from “2.” If I were him, considering he set out to beat “2,” He should throw in 2 more for 58, War Machine and Ken, considering those 2 should be doable fairly easily, and some people miss them (not me so much).
MvsC2 Classics Pack might go to Anti Venom and Megaman, but here’s hoping they DO NOT change Venom’s moveset too much. If they do, it loses all nostalgia value.
6 More: Juggernaut and Cammy - who can forget those two in Xmen Vs SF (yes, I know this ISN’T that game at all but) damn, they are missed, and I don’t understand why people truly think X-23 handles the same as Cammy. Juggernaut is heavier and crazier than Hulk. I would love to be able to walk right through some of the moves with him, as Nemesis sort of does. There are slight similarities, but they feel different enough.
Move mechanics that we haven’t seen much of in Marvel this time around: No charge characters, like Blanka? How about Beast or Thing (I actually thought his MUGEN iteration was pretty cool). Even better, as Capcom had supposedly offered to Marvel, it would have been frickin godlike to have all 4 of the Fantastic 4 as one character, as Captain Commando was imagined.
If Psylocke comes back, here’s hoping she capitolizes on multiplicity, as in X-men COTA. That has not been done in Ult yet. And Seth Killian has said twice that he wants Multiple Man to show up-maybe that was a coded hint for Psylocke?
It’s inevitable that a new Darkstalkers is going to follow. I would love to see anybody added from that game. BB Hood is traditional, but maybe Talbain since so many people want him. Please not Anakaris. I’d rather have Q. Bee.
As for the rest. I’ll add crazy, unlikely wishlist mostly deconfirmed characters: Wasp, Doctor Octopus, Dr. Wily and Jin from Cyberbots.
Jedah. If not him, at least a male darkstalker. We have enough girls.
Not real sure why people want Blade and Elektra. Not only are they not very relevant these days, but they don’t really have anything unique to add to the roster. Blade’s a sword guy with guns, Elektra’s an acrobatic girl with sais. It’d be like adding Ken to the roster. I just want Loki though. Give me Loki in the game and I’m good. I’d love to have Star-Lord, but again, he’s just a dude with guns.
Marvel fans want relevant characters. Shouldn’t the Marvel side of the roster pander to the readers of Marvel comics?
No, because most aren’t relevant outside comics. The whole point of some of these backwards ass inclusions was to get the out of the comics and into other medias. Probably explains why comics are selling at the pace of shit these days.
Comics sold worse in the 90s when characters like Gambit, Venom, Psylocke, Cable, and Carnage were at the height of their popularity. Marvel fans in general don’t care for any of those characters. Characters like Iron Fist, Nova, Ghost Rider, and X-23 all had comics that were really well received and enjoyed, it makes way more sense to include them than rehash the old characters that were only ever popular in the cartoons.
Yeah, but they made it bigger in more important mediums to Marvel. Which is not comics, not even by a country mile.
Hummm… 1 year ago? She’s still the most popular fighting game lady and she was in SSFIV not too long ago. Lei Lei and the darkstalkers on the other hand…
I’ll be pretty fucking mad if they add more darkstalker/DMC characters in a future revision (if there is any).
DMC doesn’t even have that big of a roster, and Dante/Vergil are similar enough (NOT clones though) and there’s already 3 Darkstalkers characters even though the series hasn’t been relevant in YEARS.
I’m not against the idea of adding characters from obscure/dead/unpopular series, but we don’t really need THREE from the same series dead series. That said, i’d add:

I DO buy DLC for characters haha, and I for sure would buy Jedah in a heartbeat (My favorite Darkstalkers character/one of my fav Capcom characters)

In all seriousness, I doubt he’d make it in because the franchise
just isn’t as relevant as stated by that person with the asian letters above me.
And I’m ok with that, so long as they pimp out some obscure random character
from an unknown franchise to make things interesting. And I reeeaaallllly
hope they don’t bring back Cable. I wan’t to see fresh faces that haven’t made an
appearance. That’s just me. Seems like I’m alone cause a lot of the characters people
vote for seem to be MvC2 characters. Which is why I’m happy they don’t listen to the fans. 
DO so, hes voiced a lot of other cool characters.
I know he won’t make it in. even tho theres some demand for him from fans I doubt Capcom wants a 4th darkstalker and its been stated that Jedah is too gory for this game.
I think he is more relevant than Felicia or Hsine-Ko though as hes a major part of Vampire Savior story and if he had a lot of intrest could lead to a new Darkstalkers revival perhaps. Plus his moveset is made for this game.
I think Cable would be fine because he is MvC history and hes getting a revive in comics. I only care a lot about Capcom characters. I hope they put in a Monster Hunter or Red Earth character if they dont put in Jedah.

I think they’ve exhausted all RE options anyway from a gameplay standpoint, unless we get some Lethal Joke character of Ashley Graham complete with Knight Armor hyper and Ace Attorney esque Level 3 called LEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOON where the man himself shows up to just clown the opponent with his swag.
I know this has been said before in various places, but this game needs a Sengoku Basara character. Date would be cool, but I think Oda Nobunaga would work so much better. He already has stances, projectiles (well sorta), an awesome look, and a command grabish move where he pulls enemies in for combo extension. He literally already has moves made for this game in SB3 and with the updated rerelease of Utage there is relevancy. Then again that game will probably never come to NA/EU anyway so relevancy is probably a stretch.
…I’m not liking these choices. Why are people still pushing for Megaman X when he’s confirmed as a DLC outfit for Zero? Instead of trying to pull more meat off a nearly bare bone, why not vote for characters from a series not represented in a game? Onimusha/Rival Schools/Powerstone/Runaways/Inhumans/Daredevil; lots of choices.
