Hell, I’d be more inclined to say Gambit and Psylocke further throw that into doubt. They make no sense from a Marvel business standpoint, given Marvel’s roster choices have basically been of the “we’re building our brand image and advertising upcoming/just-released product lines” variety. I can honestly say I don’t understand why anyone would want Cammy in, however. X-23 and Jill cover most of what she would offer already. If “hot blonde with twintail hair in a combat-swimsuit” is what you’re after, I can dig up some images of Fate from Nanoha StrikerS for you to look at or something. Wouldn’t take but a minute.
I’m just glad Ken’s not in that image, or I’d be doing Ghost Rider’s level 3 to people in real life while screaming “WHY DO WE NEED A THIRD SHOTO!?” Edit: And it might not even be people who wanted Ken in. Or even people who know what a MvC3 is. I’d just go up to random people on the street, my eyes ablaze with judgmental anger.
Joking/Troll response: Also the lack of Nina means this would prompt a mass protest at their NYCC booth, where BoF fans would civilly, politely, and non-disruptively voice their displeasure and ask Capcom if they will reconsider, emphasizing that they would gladly pay for a DLC copy of her. Unfortunately, this act runs contrary to the very essence of gamer/publisher relations… so it’d be like a matter/anti-matter reaction that would destroy the entire NYCC site. Capcom is not stupid; they have included Nina in the roster (but not announced her yet) to avoid this very thing.
