Personality wise? His personality is utterly dull. “IR Generic Vampire”. He’s not even an Anne Rice/White Wolf vampire!
Not trying to hate, but I really don’t understand
It’s not really for people who arent fans of the character to understand. Maybe they like his attitude,his character design, the way he looks when he fights. I’m not really familiar with the character myself so I can’t really elaborate on those topics.
Fair enough, and you’re right whats important is that people like the character, that’s enough to want them in.
I personally think that he’s one of the least-interesting characters in the DS series. He’s a pretty smug motherfucker, though, so I guess people want that?

Kinda sums up my reasons for wanting Jin back in the game. I mean, fuck, the guy’s hypers had him using a gigantic mech to beat up his opponents.
Also, I totally want Megaman X in, but please please please please please no armor hypers. Just remembering MvC2 and Silver Samurai makes me realize that armor hypers, and especially *multiple *armor hypers, such as Arthur and SS could/had to use, tend to be pretty damn useless what with all that meter they’re hogging. And I’d really rather not make X into a useless meter hog like Arthur is.

Reading that just gave me a weird idea. I just had a weird mental image of Bad Boxart Megaman being in the game. Oh the fan backlash that would happen…
Agreed. At this point X has so much built-in that he doesn’t even need armor. At most his L3 could be a cinematic of him putting on the Ultimate Armor and Nova Striking through his opponent or something like that. Truth be told I’d say the same about any Megaman; if it were .EXE I wouldn’t want him style changing every 5 seconds. Though if it were Hub-Style (the one from the manga, specifically) that’d be an exception. That thing was legit.
Though, I can’t help but wonder why all incarnations of Megaman have such low health. With Zero I can see why, but aside from Tron Bonne they’re always so delicate.
Also, part of me misses Ruby Heart. I dunno, they made her (and Amingo) just for MvC2, and then they just got left out to dry. She was a pretty unique character, and would please the “not enough female new characters” crowd. Her or Sonson would work, really.

Is definitely not the tits and ass alone 'cause if we go by tits, Black Cat, Gamora and Moonstone all have bigger tits.
If we go with ass, Gamora, Ms. Marvel and Hela all have bigger asses and if we go with legs and hips, Invisible Woman, Elektra, Ms. Marvel and Hela are better.
Is a combination of nostalgia and design and currently, she is a decent character as well.

I’m no Gene fanboy but I still see enough room for Gene, Iron Fist looks (simply put) like a Marvelized Fei Long with extras.
Gene’s moveset would be a bit more over the top imo.

- Nightcrawler(who wouldn’t want him on the game)
- Fantomex(x-force…teammate of wolverine deadpool and x-23)
Capcom:
- Nero(no more nero on the reboot)
- Masamune Date(first basara to be available in mvc3… imagine that!)
- Jin Saotome
Wow, Loki would be so godlike. He would be the king of tricks and illusions. As for Fantomex, he definitely is the X-Man I’d most like to see in the game, but I fear he would theoretically play a little too much like Wesker, with all the guns and disappear-here/appear-behind-you-shooting stuff.
I love Psylocke, and I’d very much love to see her in a game where she is more than an assist character. In fact, this is the reason why so many characters got votes despite not being so relevant in the comics nowadays, a lot of people wanna see their favorite characters from Marvel 2 get an actual fighting chance.
I’d want Anakaris in if he had that grab assist that he had in MvC2. I used to abuse the hell out of that move - so much delicious rage online.
I was hoping Skrull would have a similar assist, but he doesn’t. In fact, NO ONE has a grab assist in MvC3. That really pisses me off, actually.
For what it’s worth, Iron Fist didn’t quite match up with my ‘mental prototypes’ of Gene either. I could probably see room for Gene to be added and be relevant. I’m also working on a design sheet for Nina-BoF2, and hope to have something in the next week or so as work/schedule permit. Going through Breath of Fire 2 again, I noticed she has some mechanics that would instantly make her much different from most zoning characters… specifically, a series of single-target debuff effects such as Slowing the target or 'Blunt’ing them (reducing their attack power; the spell animation depicts an energy field washing over the target and then showing a sword shattering to bits).
A zoner/debuffer mix would be interesting, I think. Hawkeye has some similar mechanics already, but I’m envisioning something less about direct fire and more about controlling angles of the screen.
I guess I should go beat every Breath of Fire game now.
That would be a cool idea.

Flame Hyenard would be the greatest online troll character ever. The voice alone would cause immense ragequitting and hate mail.
No, we wanted Gene, not Iron Fist. Gene has a huge pool of moves to get stuff from without including the God Reel. So until I see a guy with one tribal tatoo and a whole lot of attitude the no, we ain’t going to be happy. At this point I would take the Bartender from God Hand; that guy was beyoooond Godlike.
