Is it possible to cartwheel (dodging an attack and counter from behind, with a normal attack, in time) in umv3?

In mvc3, I use 2 regular attacks (the opponent is blocking) and then cartwheel holding forward. When he have just crossed the opponent I just have to press down, down forward and he can HSS almost instantly. It works pretty well, is a little hard to block this. And if the opponent try a hyper, HSS probably gonna win. Unless he uses a hyper counter. HSS starts very fast and has invulnerability. But if he blocks it, you will have to use another hyper and etc…

It would be great if he could cartwheel and use a regular attack as a counter.
Something like teleport and attack of deadpool…

Yes in the videos, it clearly shows you have enough time to cross them up and counter them.

With full invincibility for x number of frames this will become very common for cap players. Cartwheel through supers and counter.

lol, nope…I still want c.M to either be an overhead or give Cap a command overhead. (f.M or f.H is fine thanks) :smiley:

We can double jump, meaning double overheads. And somewhat ambiguous mixup now along with an invincible cross up ability.

I am going to abuse that semi invincible cartwheel soooo badly, Capcom is going to have to patch it out lol. Oh god. . . . I cant wait! :lovin:

After watching the video, I had a quick thought. It seems that air H is jump cancelable. So does that mean we lost the air H to up+H chain as well?

Here is what I was talking about. In the beggining of the fight he tried 2 times. Cartwheel and attack. On the first time with xfactor and on the second time with a medium attack. Nothing worked. I don’t know if he had used a fast attack would make any difference. The opponent turns too fast if he’s not attacking, and cap needs a lot of time to start his attack… if it was “normal attack cancelable” like a dash or if he was able to cancel with a regular stars and stripes (that would be not so useless in the game) or counter in time would be incredible.
What should he do? Cartwheel and then HSS?

cartwheel was never special cancellable anyway, they already added so much to it.

it was special cancellable. . … no one just never needed to use it lol and now it will be wayy more useful
