really? I admit that the two button was turn off at fist but I think kara throws exist now because of it.

kara throws arent in afaik from what i tested. snk never used kara in kof (or in any of their games really). and its not the 2 buttons throws that make throws wear, its that attack startup is invincible to throws ala vf or akatsuki blitzkampf.

Does this only work on Ash?

All infin’s are patch based…there are none in the arcade or on non-patched consoles. Tested it my self on patch verses non-patch on both PS3 and X-box 360.

I tested it on Iori and it works on him too.

Haven’t had the time to test it on anyone else due to being tired and work. :wasted:
If i get the chance tonight i’ll try go through some more characters and post up the results.

Kara was used very heavily in RB2. Try Hon fwd+B for a kara-dp. Geese was notorious for Kara P-Power grabs, which was one of the big reasons he was top tier. Can’t think of a KOF example off the top of my head

Unless infinites are proven to not be patch-based, then it’s a slam-dunk ban to me.

A stupid situational infinite alone doesn’t break a game. I think a ban should be based on how much the infinite changes the core game / likelihood of it happening during actual match play. This game hasn’t seen enough console match play due to online being so shitty. When the network patch happens I think the community will have a clearer idea of what this infinite is like in REAL PLAY.

For now at least, tourney standard will be to play unpatched (that removes the Raiden/Liz throw glitch)- so if these infinites aren’t in the unpatched version, then it’s all moot, which is the best case scenario.

After a quick test, infinite definitely works on Kyo, Ash, Iori, Kim, Andy.
Couldn’t get it to work on Chin as his hitbox area is too small to do the double jump C, might be a way around this but i can’t figure it out right now.
Had a quick try against Raiden and Athena but couldn’t get it to work, but i’m starting to get tired and bored so it might actually work against them not sure.
Will test everyone else maybe tomorrow, unless someone else tries it before.

Also found out you don’t have to actually do the (f+B > hcf+A)x2 > j.C,C > Mash C you can just do D > j.C,C > Mash C.

I can confirm that it can also be done on Benimaru and Terry.

You can obviously also carry opponents to the wall for the infinite since it’s a CC. I shot another vid to demonstrate. This one is much clearer than the previous.

Ok so the new patch made the glitch in the 1st place. WELL that sounds like a clear MISTAKE by the developers imo. I don’t see how it shouldn’t be banned in tournament play if the only reason it’s there in the 1st place is because the developers fucked up the 1st patch. I’m not scared of the infinites ruining the game at this point, but if this isn’t a glitch that was in the arcade or the original console version before the patch there really isn’t a good arguement to keep it in tournament play imo. I’ll hold off on the judgement for FR13 until I test this out some more.:china:

Thank you. Given that this game isn’t confirmed for Evo, you are probably going to be making the official rules, as FR is the largest one after that. So you considering a ban seriously is going to help.

Why even worry about having to ban it for tournies when an uninstall fixes it. And hopefully by the time FR happens, the patch will have been out and sorted these bugs.
