Only interested in Poison and Rolento thus far. I really don’t care for stages due to being a PS3 player and some stages lagging the game; so I mainly play on Training stage. They can keep the outfits, I’m comfortable with the basic ones.
The only excuse Capcom has for this is that they are just about broke so they might be taking their time but we all know that’s not happening. I think they might be having an issue balancing the new character imo. (I basically just repeated you lol. This is what happens when I skim things). They should be communicating more with the FGC with what is happening though. I do agree with that and also a new trailer would be nice…
Rumor has it there might be only ONE Location test in the US and it’ll be at almost the end of development (when generally they don’t make any major changes). Capcom Cup finals in Birlingame, California in December supposedly is the first and only time USF4 will be playable in US before release. So much for Capcom’s claim of “There will be a bunch of location tests and events where you can get your hands on a current build of the game and give feedback” as was claimed at EVO when it was announced.
At the VERY LEAST USA should have had 4 events. 1 in NorCal, 1 in SoCal, 1 in Texas, 1 in NYC. Wouldn’t even need to be big events just 1 station at a small booth in an existing tournament. Hell they could have made it closed off and not allow phones or cameras to prevent media leaks but each of those major scenes deserve at least one chance to play the project and give feedback on this “Community based Update.” This is coming from a guy who lives LESS THAN AN HOUR from where the ONE event is going to be held. I feel bad for the guys who might end up paying $300+ to fly from NYC to give feedback.
Hey what about the midwest? A loctest in Chicago would be sweet.
Even if there is only one in the US, there will probably be a bunch in Japan. Makes sense, Capcom is based there. It is a short distance for Xian or Infiltration or Gamerbee to hop on by, then u got 5 gods of Japan and more.
Midwest scene isn’t nearly as strong as any of the other 4 locations. I did say “AT LEAST” meaning these are the places at minimum it should happen. It’d be nice if they did 100 of them but realistically 1 in NorCal, 1 in SoCal, 1 in Texas, and 1 NYC covers the major USA scenes. Only reason CA even gets two is because the SoCal scene is too important to ignore and Capcom USA is IN norcal (which is why the only location test is taking place there.)
That will never happen. It is the calling card/signature mechanic of SF4. Like parry in 3s. The best is hoping for it to be altered in a way beneficial to the game.
Edit: To clarify I’m not talkin about that blog post being the new info itself. In the blog post (using google translate) it says:
So while that is obviously google engrish it does mention showing something next week so yeah. This blog post itself tells us basically nothing though.
