Sim loses sMK 2hit in it’s entirety. Can’t have sMK at half distance be 2hits but not max range? Or have a different normal like crHP no longer a low but hits twice? It’s 14F startup and -6F on block and can be hopped over. Plus it’d be better to hit focus attacks since sMK still whiffs vs a couple of focus attacks unless you get around the knee of sMK.

They couldn’t have Guile’s U1 auto correct after the first part of the attack? Y’know - does flash kick - lands - turns around - does flash kick - does final cinematic flash kick?

Low tiger shot for Sagat nerfed from -8F point blank to -9F point blank. in AE2012 it’s -7F, ouch. If they are going to do that then they should up the damage up to 65 like high tiger shot IMO.

Ibuki’s Target combo 6 (sLP - sMP - crHK - sHK) now causes a free juggle state allowing you to combo to anything. Derp. Derpity derp derp. I see this shit thrown around so much in online matches and occasionally even offline because the sHK is jump cancelable so it’s really obnoxious to fight for characters with slower anti airs (since she crosses up on the jump forward) or if the Ibuki is actually good you don’t even get to worry about that because she just jump cancels into MK Tsurugi which is a 2F frame trap.

Now she also gets to combo into a full ultra or raida or sweep or whatever she wants if it hits? :expressionless:

Seeing as the tweet is in french I’m guessing it’s referring to a build at Stunfest 2014, not an arcade build. Obviously this means that they are still tweaking things before the console release.

oh yeah sorry forgot about the sagat/ibuki change, the life bar is slightly different, they look a bit like the Vanilla one, its also rumored that the console version will be different than the actual arcade version that japan has , but no details on this … as for guile what the hell man, no one asked for nerf beside the ridiculous ultra turn around

Well this confirms that there will be post Arcade release changes at least, but yeah I agree some of those changes are strange and I don’t like how they took away Sims 2hit st.mk outright.
They should have given it a two hitting state further down the leg.

For those that don’t see what was changed: They opened up the health bar bmp files in photo shop, added a “metallic” filter to it, saved it and said. “UI is done, now what?”

Yeah it looks like standard compression effect to me.

Wow I’m not a sagat main myself but I do dabble a bit and that low TS nerf is wtf? Its already minus… dude capcom literally puts no logic into their changes. I agree dhalsim should have 2 hit mk but first hit near the knee or w/e. Theres no reason there shouldn’t be middle ground changes on any of these nerfs. Very lazy and ridiculous.

One thing I’d love is if in Edition Select mode the UI changed for your character. They’d have to split the UI down the middle but depending on what character you choose you’d have your half of the UI based on that edition.

Select Vanilla and you get the old Vanilla UI complete with it just saying “revenge” and flashing Red on the Ultra bar w hen full and having a sort of bent life bar. Super - AE2012 gets you the current UI and Ultra edition gets you whatever final version they go with for USF4.

You’re implying that they are rare. Quite common for my old mains Gen, and Fei. And I do them by mistake with no set up with Yang.

Why would it be OK to have something that removes the visual element of blocking. And then complain about something that gives you a chance to actually block.

well again because they are rare and not as easy to perform as you make it sound and more importantly not all of them are safe, i cant even remember the last time i got hit by one online, as for Gen he’s based around these ambiguous cross up so no surprise, lets not bring the poor Yang and the destroyed j.mk, i never understood why it was nerfed to begin with , and the very few that i know how to perform can simply be dashed forward/punished

now not only you can escape them, but you have DWU too, i still prefer getting hit by one or get vortexed time to time instead of having all my offense destroyed wich make the game braindead on wake up and slow , you’ll understand the pain when you finally get on a juri and she will just DWU nullifying your pressure
