Nah, it has 2, EX meat squasher has 1, and… wow, his super moves REALLY fast. I don’t know what the Dhalsim was doing though, he’s crouching, so it wasn’t a punish.
That Guile ultra has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Justin wong and PR Balrog said in an EG interview that that buff is their least favorite change. How are we supposed to oki him AT ALL when he has it loaded… wtf lol. Guile needed buffs but thats insanity.

Pack it up. Hugo vs Dhalsim has been figured out. Obviously Dhalsim still beats Hugo so probably 6-4 but I’m leaning towards 5.5-4.5

Nah this change makes Hugo-Sim a solid contender for a 5-5. Perfect balance, on par with Blanka vs T-hawk.
U1 buff aside, Guile changes are fine.

a better version of yhc vs a hugo got posted. the hugo was counter poking pretty well and super punishes sim fireballs from like close to full screen. if the hugo had the AA ultra he maybe could have made it even closer
hugo actually can fight back. its still looking bad, but he doesnt have to eat 27 mks

As for the super punish, I thought so as well but doop pointed out Sim is crouching when he got hit. That means that it wasn’t an actual punish because he had to have recovered already from the fireball for him to get hit during a crouch. It’s just one of those “why did he get hit?” moments. It does seem Hugo COULD punish the fireball if he was slightly faster to react though.

This is how they should have made Sim’s s.mk work; two hits to the knee and one hit farther out. Change damage from 40+30 to 30+40 . Alot of people suggested this, two hits at the tip looks retarded.
Knowing Capcom they’ll probably just scrape the idea altogether instead of findings a middle ground like Chun’s jump or Adon’s st.hk

my bad hadnt checked in in a while and pavy is usually behind so i assumed he had the old one or something without looking at the thumbnail
anyway the super was still close to full screen. it wasnt off by much so its probably still going to hit or be a big threat inside 3/4 screen. block st. mk at max distance, dash forward and reaction punish a fireball w/super will most likely be a thing
im also thinking less than full screen snipers arent going to be safe
