yea thats what ive read over his twitter, if its confirmed to be true , FADC srk could be replaced by a RF since it cost the same amount of EX bars and is safe on block, its not a 3frame and dosnt have the invincibility of a srk but it has the unlimited~~ armor ,crumple instantly and your ultra goes into full animation/all hits, or am i saying bs like always ?
Rf is still vulnerable to throws and the attack portion doesn’t have armor

Well maybe not, but it was cool to see Daigo use him in at least one match. From what I’ve seen so far from Evil Ryu in USF4, nobody is utilizing tatsu sweep or target combo, which were the two things I was interested in using in USF4. I figure like Ibuki, you can do ambiguous jump in after sweep, and if you see “Technical” then just do a dive kick instead. Not the safest option since you’ll be susceptible to DP’s, but it’s a way to maintain jump in pressure and keeps tatsu>sweep a viable option.

Also EX RF after a DP still wont be a true block string or even close to one. It’ll still have a pretty large gap.
I still don’t think Cody will be the worst or even bottom 5 in USF4, maybe not even bottom 10. Just one of the least changed in any sort of relevant way. Not really noticeably better in any way, and unless it turns out the EX Criminal Upper did indeed lose it’s throw invincibility, not really worse in any significant way.

That brings me on to another thing, did you guys notice how Ultra comes out on Japanese consoles as the same time as our PC release? (August)
Sure they might have a month and a half advantage to grind it out at arcades, but our console version comes out in June, and we are going to have a month to destroy improved training mode and have the fun of playing other modes. Now it’s DEFINITELY fair game, no real doubt about that. But we all know the serious Japanese players will probably end up changing their region to America/create a western account just to download the game before it comes out in August anyways, that’s only the serious Japanese though. Throws don’t work that way. You have to grab their throw box which is attached to torso of characters. You can’t actually grab “limbs” in SF4
