I’m coming back into the SF scene after a 6 year break. I initially dismissed SF4 back in 2008 but now that my favorite character is coming back (Hugo), I think I’m ready to give it another try.
First I have a few questions:

Would you say SF4 (or for that matter SSF4 and USF4) has as much depth as Third Strike did?

How easy is it to find playable (minimal lag) matches online (I’ll probably get the 360 version and I live in LA)?

Okay now who the fuck here told me months ago, that save states were out of the question, and that they would need to rebuild the engine from the ground up. I knew that was BS yes!!! If the damn Ps2 could do that for 3S no reason the newer gen hardware of the 360 and PS3 can’t do it for SF4. YES!!! Network simulation is a hugeeeeeeee surrprise thoooooo… even with shitty decapre… ultra is STILL worth more than 15 bucks now… im pretty sure we have just a few more surprises too when it comes to menus and stuff… Heheheh 
As much as i hate Decapre that Alt is far from being the worst.have we forgot all of Blankas ults,Sagat with hair Sakuras dress,Dan with a mask Vega,Pirate Ryu and Abels?

It doesn’t seem like it’s a true savestate, it simply records your actions and lets you replay them at the push of a button. Hopefully you’ll be able to keep building on your recordings, that way it would be easy to “program” hard link combos and then, as a combo video maker, just play them for the camera so you don’t have to record 934756349 attempts.

It has a lot more idosyncrasies than 3s because a lot of the system mechanics are stupid, hurtboxes are bad, and there are way more matchups and more characters are viable(ish)
in LA it’s very easy to find low lag matchups. a lot of the local WNF players are online during the weekend or during peak hours.

Yes I like kinda bad cringe-worthy songs, don’t judge me.
That new cinematic intro reused a couple scenes obviously, but NOTHING to bitch about though, super sick. (especially ultras official theme)
It sucks that i won’t be able to see this intro when i start up Ultra or here the announcer say " Ultra street fighter 4!" Cause i’ll be buying the 15 dollar version for PC and Xbox, so it will have to start up as AE first then transition to Ultra after i get passed the title screen, if you guys get what i mean?
Hopefully the PC version will just be the full game download and you can delete AE off your hard drive after Steam detects that you already have AE on your account to let you download Ultra for 15 bucks… sorry sometimes i don’t make sense… just pay attention to the little things too much ._.
