And the 5th, much anticipated character is…a Cammy look-alike. Forgive me, those of you faithful legions of Decapre fans, I don’t mean to offend you, but couldn’t Capcom have been a little more creative with this char choice? When I heard the rumors that Retsu might be the 5th character, I was excited. When I learned who it really is, let’s just say there is no longer any wind in my sails. SF is supposed to be the more technical fighter. Continually pushing the envelope of mix-up prone, aggression-oriented characters only serves to further skew the delineation between pure SF and vs or x games. Forgive me for saying so, but not impressed with the 5th character choice.
And see, this is a legit complaint about Decapre. I may not necessarily agree, but you presented yourself in a respectful manner and didnt come across as just whining for its own sake.
If the criticism was more like that from the beginning, FGD wouldn’t have went to shit.

new blog post discusses SF4 CR (the pachinko thing) and also brings up the Nesica video I posted earlier. Using google translate on the page so I had to kind of translate the gibberish into english. As far as I can tell it’s going to be a weekly thing where they post a new character introduction video each week from a top player (Sagat being done by Bon-chan) and that it is based on the poll they took the previous week asking about favorite character or something. I dunno how long they’ll do it or how many characters it will be though.
Also early in the post there is something about an exhibition match between Fuudo and Daigo where it sounds like Fuudo picked Chun and Daigo picked Zangief? Not sure why but that seems to be the case. Also there are mentions of Hakan early on but I have no idea what it’s about. (Again: google translate lol)
Also there is mention of a Poison move that hasn’t been seen yet? o_O
