With that new information I still think it’s either Haggar from Final Fight or some not as important character in the SF series like Dan’s father.
I am even more excited after reading that interview, thank you. So a Capcom character that has never appeared in a fighting game, is not Asura, and is male. I like that the balance seems that it will be extensive, not just minor shit.

Color customization would be awesome, but for the love of god please dont add shitty metallic and pearlescent glowing colors, I have enough extra lag from morons picking crumbling laboratory to begin with, dont need that to add to their srk mashing skills as well…

You guys should think on a smaller scale. Just because a character hasn’t been in a fighting game before doesn’t mean they’re not a part of the SF universe.

There is still a couple of Final Fight protagonists they could go with, given that all of the FF characters being ported over are villains (Poison/Hugo/Rolento) it would make sense to add a hero type. I hope it’sLucia and not Carlos or Dean.

Fuck so I guess it’s not a Rival Schools character. Well I think there’s still hope for a Power Stone character. It’s not really a fighting game. More like a fighter party like Smash that can be played competitively. So Falcon would make his fighting game debut in USFIV if it’s him.

I never thought about any of the villians, but now that I think of it, Retu in USF4 would be awesome, fighting him in Final Fight 2 is one of my most remembered childhood memories, lmao
