So. When’re they going to actually announce the announcement of the announcement of the 5th characters announcement?

any news on fixing the one frame lag between console versions?

Almost literally every match I’m in on Youtube features me losing, despite having around a 70 percent win ratio.

Maybe both players have to consent for a vid to be uploaded? That would be an easy way to make everyone happy.

Combofiend just said on the " challenge capcom" stream that DeeJay is now throw invincible on EX Machinegun.
Not sure if it’s new, but that’s the only thing he gave out.

Always awesome. Spend over an hour to give out one vague change. Man, they really are putting in a lot of effort into shaking things up with this update. FYI Deejay is already throw invincible 1-4F on EX MGU (as well as strike/projectile)

Okay let’s talk about save states for training mode for the next 4 pages! Spread the word! Tired of watching the ultra animation. -_-
Give the option to disable Ultra’s too, damn CPU doing Ultra on you the moment you press a button is annoying… it WILL happen to you, no matter how good you are.

Save states ain’t happening. That’d likely require massive changes to the game engine to support them. If they did that then they could implement GGPO too which would be nice.

All I want for training mode:

Increase timer to 20seconds (really don’t need any longer for most things but it needs to be long enough to record a setup that includes an ultra.)
Delayed Wakeup - No / Always / Random option
Refill Super meter doesn’t refill DURING combos.
Option to set your super meter to 1 2 or 3 bars as well as max to start.
Hitbox Viewer
Frame Data viewer, including frame advantage you are currently at when you hit with a move.
“Super Meter Gained” listing for combos in attack data table
Option to store up to 4 recordings and be able to switch between them manually OR have the game randomly pick one after a previously recording is finished playing.
Option to select a special move / super move / specific action for the dummy to perform as a reversal (E.G. Select “Shoryuken” or “Back Dash” or “Ultra 1”) and the game will attempt that option whenever a reversal is available.
“Reset” doesn’t show “Ready Fight” intro. Ready Fight intro only shown when you first enter the training stage after selecting characters. Resetting has no delay before you can start moving again.
Allow Stage select / music selection in training mode.
Control Dummy health - 100%/75%/50%/25%/1health like how Handicaps work.
Allow KO on/off (mostly just for combo video makers.)
“Remove Window” option when paused so you can pause the game and still see everything (They used to do this in other SF games. Most FGs have this. It’s helpful for screenshots or whatever.)

That’s a very boss list of things to training mode…I really did the idea of hitbox Viewer, frame data viewer and Stage Select…Like in KOF…gotta go to dem streets to put in work.

All that is fine and good but i can tell you right now that frame data viewer wont happen. That shit is way too much effort for them.

I may have missed it or it may not have been announced, but is Ultra definitely going to be on the Xbox One and PS4? It seems to make sense given its release date and the fact that all previous DLC is included in the purchase.

They have stated a few times now there are no plans to bring USF4 to XB1 or PS4.

There were no plans for updates after both AE and 2012 also, so I never take Capcoms word on stuff like this.

Someone on eventhubs pointed something interesting out in this vid: Meter does not carry between rounds of team battle mode. This kind of sucks for two reasons:

  1. Characters who are poor at building meter only have 1 round to build meter. Any meter built in round 1, even if you won the round, does not carry over meaning no stocking a super to use in round 2.
  2. No such thing as “Point/Battery/Anchor” since meter gaining is negated. There is basically no real team building just pick who you like and fight.

Of course capcom would choose the boring route of implementing this new mode.
