Ultra changes (location test)

If every character is insane then akuma should keep his vortex

i wonder if making everyone insane is even possible. there are some characters that no matter how buff they get, because of the physical movesets that one character has, just can’t compete. unless they acquire one or two more additional movies, it’ll make them that much better. e.g. dan and hawk. hawk has already been buffed a lot, but what else would make him even better? it’s really hard to say what can be addressed with his current moves

As much as his vortex gives me nightmares, I agree. But…that’s one big IF.

Even Tokido says Akuma will be fine.

To fix hawk make cMK combo into the horizontal hawk dive, increase grab range, increase hitbox size and frame advantage on block on primary pokes. Done.

Hawk isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

I also like I hit ST juggle into ultra. It should be ultra one… to give that move a bit more reason to be used.

I suppose once again I am the only one that finds more utility with U1 than U2?

Well yea, U1 has a lot more situational utility, does more damage and is better for beating fireballs… but U2 is literally Vega’s ONLY reversal move and a lot of people find that too good to pass up.

If ex st retains iframes, that’s a lot of reason to use u1 right there.

Also if people stop falling out of u1.

The key to the opponent never falling out of U1 is never to hit the juggle part on an airborne opponent. The reason U1 is my best anti air is because I intentionally miss the juggle. As far as I’m concerned they could remove that piece of shit hit and I wouldn’t care. The ONLY time I ever land that hit intentionally is on reaction to a fireball

Bro, why not just fix it.

Cause its not really important

Pretty shitty reason bro

There’s a whole slew of things that are more important to get fixed.

Besides, its pretty hard to bitch about it if you use it properly, because like I said… you never encounter this situation.

You are making a mistake if you believe it’s a problem I encounter, just like you’re making a mistake to believe fixing it won’t increase its applications.

Edit: AND if you think I believe this is among the most important changes. It’s not. But, there is no finite limit for changes.

Basically there’s just no reason for you to be saying anything.

Waaaaaaaa poor prof must a got his feelings hurt because he got called out for bitching about shit that isn’t a problem to begin with.

I’m sooooory “bro”

Cry some more why don’t ya?

Lmao. Wow.

Indeed. Because increasing applications means absolutely nothing. The only application it applies to is empty neutral jumps and empty jump backs. He’s already got an answer for it. Its called go to the back wall.

Learn to use the ultra before opening your mouth.

I know how to use it now. I also know we may get invincible frames on it or ex st, and that in general if something is broken it should be fixed regardless of any other circumstances.

Nice tech though really savvy. The back wall. I would never have thought of that, thanks. Lmao.

Edit: also for someone who just said u1 has better applications than u2 and someone who thinks they can use it, your limited scope of how to apply it is severely telling.

This kinda stuff must be why Vegaman believes Vega’s only advantageous matchup is v Blanka.

GG bro. Keep embarrassing yourself. <3

I choose U2 over U1 because you can use U2 to get pressure off you when people decide not to respect your space or to punish a semi-late jump in. U1 is really fast, but if you’re in the corner getting dive kicked or jumped on, it’s not going to help you. If EX ST stays, then U1 would have more purpose, unless U2 retains 5 frame start up, then U2 becomes the go to Ultra since it will do everything U1 does and would have combo potential.

As much respect and love I have for Zeus for doing what he does, I have to disagree about the jab. It needs to stay. It may be strong, but it’s what is going to give Claw any sort of pressure if they nerf U2 to 6 or more frames.
