Ultimate web throw incoming guard breaks

I agree its not that easy, but say if you come across a top tier team of Wesker, Vergil, Strider. You snap Strider in and he takes proton cannon and you go for the kill with Spidey x factor. Now you have 3 characters, down x factor, and you’re up against Vergil, Wesker. Was that worth it? maybe, maybe not. I know it seems like a convoluted situation, but i believe in keeping an open mind.
Also, i think the best part about the PC setup is that you can go into the Iron Man infinite(hopefully he’s on 2nd) and kill the next incoming character with the guard break.

It’s up to you to make those decisions based on your experience. If you’re good fighting Strider but not Vergil then burn it against him and vice versa. Don’t over think it

Doom may be like Storm where you have to do a meaty normal and move out the way from there into super

The only problem is all of doom’s super’s will hit and put them in more blockstun if you tri jump into them and I’m not sure if you can move out of the way fast enough. I was thinking that you could fly then do the input nullification glitch with j.:h: to get one meaty hit and then sphere flame xx DHC. I have a feeling that the butter gun will cause too much blockstun though. Another idea I have is to call hidden missiles before you do a snap back. for example:
beginning of combo . . . launch, j.:m:, :h: footdive, :s:xx airdash whiff normal, land, fire one missile, c.:m: xx snap back. The problem is that the whole set up can be beat if the opponent push blocks the missile because then spider-man would be too far.

I doubt Doom has that much time plus missile homes in on the current character so snapping out would get rid of the missile. Doom can attack then air dash up and away or down towards and do super without worrying about hit boxes from the arrays but I haven’t found the exact timing to get uwt to catch. As for push blocking in general though if you super any push block attempt push back is negated

im hoping theres something good for frank/spidey. im gonna have to test some soon. one theory i did have with spidey frank was UWT setups where if the opp teched forwards to try and hit spidey with a normal to break it, you could just DHC into funny face crusher and grab them with that instead.double airthrow super shenanigans.

Doctor Doom’s SJ :l: xx Photon Array DHC works

I forgot Chaotic Flame starts up faster so instead of stalking flare you can use purification xx chaotic flame and give you a SLIGHT bit more time to verify then DHC before the flames come out.

You can also super jump up air dash down :m: into Chaotic Flame then DHC into UWT

Ok I get what you are saying now. I wasn’t sure if you meant tri jump in with a meaty j.:l: or just a regular jump. Do you think meaty j.:l: ADDB sphere flame DHC could work?

ARGH!!! I keep messing with this but the more that I keep toying with it the more and more frustrated I get. Probably has to do with my lack of sleep and the fact I had class today. I’m finding a lot of the cast that lack ground to air normals or specials, especially the single hit kind, can manipulate the system to some extent. I will start classifying them as Class 3 tier as far as these guard breaks are concerned. Reason being is because though they have ways to activate the guard break they are much riskier. Use these setups with characters that lack a safe option, but mix it up with OTHER setups on incoming so as not to make you completely vulnerable that chance that you do decide to use it.

Class 2 would be reserved for those who have a way to start it safely but due to timing on some of them they aren’t as guaranteed as Class 1. For example Dormammu, who has both a Class 3 and Class 2 setup. While the timing on his is someone tight, he’s safe afterwards if he messed up or if they took the hit. While this is something the same requirement for Class 1, the short and simple answer to why I split the two is because of ease of use and timing not having to me as much of a factor.

Class 1 is everything that the other two have but safer. So far the class is reserved to just Magnus and Iron Man. If Magnus hits with Hyper Grav do Magnetic Tempest into Crawler Assault then pick up from there. If they block, UWT, if they pushblock UWT. Iron Man is the same but a lot simpler. Throw out a meaty diagonal proton cannon and wait for results. If they take the hit DHC into MS and pop X-factor for the kill if you feel that particular character is problematic either on point or as an assist.

I’m going to keep looking for some more but right now I’m going to take a break then come back and upload the few setups that I have recorded thus far explaining pros and cons of the setups in general.

As far as setups like that go the move with less hits run will usually work best. I was trying to find a setup using super jump :l: plasma beam then cancel immediately but it has too much stun. Not saying it can’t work though. I’m hoping people find better setups than I am since I don’t play everyone enough to know indepth properties to everyone’s moves. I’m working on the video now

unfortunately the best i can get is a push block punish… but mehh… ill be on the lookout of you vid man… keep up the great work wouldnt be half the spider-man without your tech!

i tried various things with doom and couldn’t get it to work;; even if he has setups i feel like they will be some of the less practical ones

Does this tech translate over to she hulk and frank west? Or does Spider-Man’s grab have like a bigger zone?

This works with she hulk and frank too. Frank needs lvl3 to get his AA grab, though.

Yeah Doom is definitely harder to do it with. I got it to work on big characters like Doom and Hulk (Hulk was a lot easier to do it on), but it wasn’t very consistent or easy for me. It would probably be close to impossible for me to do it on small characters. I’m gonna play with it a little more, but at the moment it doesn’t seem like my team can do this.
