If you’re gonna run that order I would make sure your confirms into super/EX moves are tight as fuck with Kim. When I was discussing team orders with Ron we were talking that a good archetype for team order is: Meter User/Battery/Meter Hog.
I run Claw Iori/Ash/Mature in a similar way. Iori can build all the meter he needs (and I’m trying to play him with more focus on Drive Cancel combos). I feel like I don’t need a ton of meter with Ash and I love to spend meter with Mature!

It’d be awesome if they just fixed the bug but left the throw -> air throw in.
It seems EX Iori specific, and you can get way more than just an air throw after that if you’re willing to spend meter.
The current one I’m doing (which seems the most efficient) once I tighten up is: Throw 236 D 28D 236AC 214C 2369A 2369A 2369A 2369A airthrow
It does 530ish and only costs one of each bar.
