No one would pick Ryu ether but it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be in the game.
Anyone else tired of the aura of entitlement that every single pissed off commenter that has popped up since yesterday seems to be sporting? I typically don’t give two shakes about character speculation and expectations, but, to be honest we should all just be glad we’re getting new characters that are ORIGINAL. I understand the sentiment that fans of MvC2 have, but, frankly, if you’re looking for that experience to be recreated why don’t you just go back to playing said game?
And of course, the other obvious points have been brought up: Capcom has creative control on which characters, so they probably have an agenda with each pick (and there is if you look closely, even for Rocket Raccoon), the negating of Megaman (even though two MM universe characters are already in place. To be fair, I wouldn’t be shocked if the mass cancelling of Megaman games this year and his not being in UMvC has something to do with his creator leaving Capcom), and the general whining that never seems to cease, yet is still the vocal minority.
Be vocal and complain. The lot of you are still going to buy the game, and the rest won’t be missed. I’m just thrilled that Capcom is listening, trying new things, and righting some wrongs that were made. Do I enjoy paying for a game twice? Frankly, I don’t care. I have a job that isn’t at a fast food place. I can afford it. More importantly, this is, after all, a product and a business move. Do you expect them to give it to you for free, or even for MORE of a discount?
Nobody bats their eyes when other companies do Game of the Year editions released in this exact same manner. Typically, everyone is happy because more content for a game they love is hitting the shelves. So, if it helps any of you sleep at night, just pretend that this is a Game Of The Year edition.
And shut the hell up.
If anything, we should all be salt due to the lack of Jem. We had a movement going…

My guess is that he’ll have a directional dash attack, sort of like Ruby Heart, Talbain, or MODOK’s battering ram super. The most iconic image of Nova is him rocketing around after all.

Whats bad is that’s probably gonna end up a decent keepaway team, since the way I see dr strange playing similarly to Dormammu, except probably a bit faster/fancier, and phoenix wright i expect to play like doronjo from TvC

So, the whiners got their precious Spectator Mode. Ok, fine. I don’t care either way, but there is no way in hell that it’s gonna improve lag. That much I know. Put it in the category of “be careful what you endlessly whine for.”
It annoys me when people can’t appreciate inclusions just because their favourite characters aren’t in.
I mean, I got no Jubilee, no Gambit, no Hayato, no Batsu, no CapCom, but I’m left with a foul-mouthed Raccoon with guns and a gigantic zombie with a unlimited Rocket Launcher. Seriously, fuck my picks, I want THAT!.
I’m actually loving Capcom for putting new characters rather than only rehashing old characters that have already been in vs series.

Im hoping they give him some move that absorbs energy since(correct me if im wrong) thats one of his powers right? Oh and btw, from one of thr streams I watched it seems like hawkeye can aim his arrows. It looked like the player was aiming like in a side scroller.
