If you are using hulk you want to hulk smash->launcher->gamma crush because well why not? You want to use hulk’s best tools to cause as much damage as possible.

Its so true. In Ultimate since she can’t port out of the air after a fireball the counter will be much more viable against her… although any strat will me much more viable against her…

It doesn’t have great recovery, making it super punishable.
Well, you’re mostly f’d at that point anyway so trying anything is better than nothing, I get the reversed inputs at times, but my DP motions are stupid quick so I usually get the counter before the tele.
If you’re slow on DP or RDP rather then predict the reverse input and go from there.

Why are so many people trying to recreate the things that worked for them in MvC2? This is a new game, experiment and find new tactics that work for you instead of begging for old ones to be brought back. It just seems lazy to me.
I think one of the most obvious costumes is that Phoenix will be getting a Hobo Wright alternate. I don’t really know about the others. I guess Firebrand could get Joker armor.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone else notice a funny trend with capcoms balancing of wolverine through the mvc series? mvc 1: broken tier, mvc 2: shit, mvc 3: broken tier, if this continues we can expect a mediocre wolverine in umvc 3. Unless of course the fact that umvc 3 isn’t a true sequel might throw the pattern off.

Dude, I could care less if Phoenix Wright has that assist, but I’m just saying what might happen. A lot of gamers are trying to recreate the magic of MvC2 (which explains the spike in Magneto usage.) I like what the new game has to offer, but some people are just lazy…

His command grab can’t be blocked. The only way they can “block” it is if they were already in block stun,but that isn’t the same thing.If that happens the grab will whiff,which means that it can’t be safe on block.
Maybe he’s taking about the light running grab?
