So after said H loop post TAC, should ending with sjH xx L disruptah xx temptest work? Since the H loop will likely corner carry, just hoping there’s something better than a cornered shockwave xx dhc. Of course there’s squeeze, but id like the option of not spending 3 meters.
I think you need to unfly jH into Disruptor xx Tempest.
That’s not so bad, the important part, if I’ve got this all right, is I can full combo with someone, tac mag any direction, fly, LH (dash H) x n, unfly, H xx L disruptah xx tempest xx dhc. That’s sweet for a low execution scrub like me

I’ve got pretty good execution, but I just can’t do addf M’s for hte life of me with mags (probably just in my head), so can’t do his infinite post TAC lol.
Also post air Tempest, you have some pretty interesting positioning/options other than the obvious DHC.
You can do airdash back xx L blast.
it will sometimes catch an unsusppecting opponent, and you can land and tridash L to full combo
on block you can land call an assist and go for a mixup
on block you can also just land call assist and throw out disruptah or more magblasts for a chip out sequence
you can pretty much do w/e you want since Mags rules hte skies with [S]an ironfist[/S] his stupid air normals and magblasts!

Dino is correct… no single combo should work for all TAC directions. If you put a little bit of time into it, it isn’t too difficult to figure out the different ways to start your combos from each direction
immediate fly works from all directions.

R313n: agreed, though the immed fly is working pretty universally thus far. However, it appears the unfly, H xx disruptor xx tempest may need the corner to work. Not sure.
RayRay, if you see this: I’m sure you don’t look for team advice from nobodies like me, but if you’re still looking for a ryu replacement, and if viper’s not cutting it, I wanted to pose the following question: if you ran Nova Mag Sent, would you even be capable of losing a game of marvel? Like, ever? Lol I mean, as far as giving yourself a “2nd magneto” with which to open fools up via drones lockdown, with nova you could tell people if you’re comin high or low and they prob still couldn’t block you lol And that’s to say nothing of the threat of nova b assist actually threatening to make mag unblockable lol
If you see this post, at least give the idea a good 10 seconds to swim around in your head. The way you play specifically, I can’t see Nova Mag Sent not just being a complete major-crushing coup. Seriously.

Nova is gooood. Finally gettin the respect he deserves. Instead of just being seen as a poor man’s magneto, people finally see he’s a middle class magneto. Mag blows his nose with hunnits.
Nova’s definitely good but he’s in the running for most boring character in the game and he’s definitely not as strong of a character as Viper is. I don’t think Viper is as strong as Zero or Vergil like the tier-threaders do but she’s definitely close. Nova doesn’t crack top 10 for me.
I don’t enjoy the Nova matchup in the slightest, but it’s manageable. I still say Zero is in a totally different tier, that buster legit broke the game. I also agree that Viper is a stronger character than Nova by far, but I’d also argue that in the right hands she can certainly stand up to Vergil. She’s just so damn… versatile.
Lol. So I’m fucking around with optimizing my combos, and have come up with some sick shit. I used to use missiles for my combo extender for mags when he was available, but I recently discovered that even after you do a full BnB, with grav loops, and extend with doom missiles, you can extend even FURTHER with st. H (call rapid slash) xx m. Disruptah (vergil assist pops them up) TK disruptah xx aerial tempest.
Extending on that concept, I decided to try using only the vergil ender in a mags combo, and came up with a way to incorporate doom missiles into my vergil dhc combos for another round trip (which is huge for vergil, more loops).
What I stumbled across is pretty astounding: Off a cr. LMHS starter, the most I can get out of my mags combo with tempest ender with spiral swords dhc is 1,150,000.
Yup. For 2 bars. But don’t think that’s two bars negative. You don’t even need a full meter to start this combo, and the combo itself is meter positive, building an ENTIRE BAR over the course of the combo. This completely blows my mind.
This same combo, off of a throw with a cr.HS starter, does 916,000, and still nets the additional full bar (leaving you with 2 meters at the end of the combo if you started with one). If you feel the need to burn the additional two meters you have left, this combo will do 1.2 million off of a throw.
Hope someone else can use this.
Edit: It works with Doom DHC to Vergil just as well.

When you said Viper is not as strong as Zero and Vergil do mean in tools,mixups or Dmg out put cuz she can kill both of them with no meter.
Doom and Haggar can kill them with no meter, doesn’t mean they’re better lol. I just mean in overall character strength I think Zero and Vergil trump Viper although she might be #3 or #4 in the game.
Shady plays it with Vergil anchor instead.
Sorry it took so long for me to get everything organized to where I could record/convert/upload files. Here is that combo I was talking about, with an extra vergil loop at the end for shits and giggles, to break 1.3 mil, and because I like seeing the word unstoppable.

One of the main reasons I think she better than zero is cuz her FADC crushes all of his options, even pizza cutter, she can shut down all of Vergils options but she needs at least one bar.
