Yeah I know, just that sometimes, consistency is favorable to slightly more damage, that’s all I’m saying.
And yeah, I know it’s not corner, just throwing out that if you end up with Dante/Vergil in the corner, the freddyloco extension is the most optimal thing you could do with that team
Mine is Knockdown Call Vergil Volcano TK Million Carats TK Skydance Million Dollars.
Other fancy stuff you can do with mine is a second Million Carats into (If height allows, Stinger Volcano) Beehive. You can also do grapple after the first million carats for a reset. In the combo I’m doing without using shot loops the reset is at about 544k. Yo Dante.
Sidenote: After seeing Josh Wong reset people after a groundbouce with L it got my brain going. That situation especially with select assists looks like it could fleshed out into a mixup vortex of sorts on that Wesker tip.
For some reason, every time I use that extension, the Acid Rain hits at random heights making it really hard to connect the s.:s: sometimes.
You can fix this by going directly to a reverb shock if its too low, but that doesn’t reset the ground bounce.
The only character I can use this consistently against is Doom.
IMO, the most consistent extension is Cold Shower + Vergil, Jump Vertically, Sky Dance Whiff, Rain/Volcano Link, jump Sky Dance, Million Dollars to DHC. This of course requires you to get comfortable with the link (I don’t think anyone considers it that hard), but it isn’t height dependent or anything.

Yup delay the second :h: till your near the ground but I wouldn’t recommend using j:m::h: killer bee because even though you can reset the ground bounce if you save it you can get more damage.
Yarrrggggggg can anyone make me a damaging dante corner combo for 1 bar using spencer and wesker assists.

I’ve made so many but I never broke 750k so yeah.
The combo I do normally is j. h, m, h, stinger, bc, volcano, j m, j h, killer bee, s. h, s, hh, prop shredder, sj, hammer, cold shower, stinger, bc teleport, hammer, volcano, beehive, million dollars. It does like 704, but I just started playing Dante a few weeks ago. I’m trying my best to get a better understanding of the character. I use Zero, Dante, Hawkeye though. I don’t know how do reset the ground bounce or anything or what max damage combo I should use. I generally use an assist and get around 730k.
So as a corner combo do you think this would work?

1.Will my g.bounce be reset in that combo?
2. Do I need to tk that acid rain after sky dance?
3. After a :dp: I see people use :f::h: and :dp: or :qcb::h::h:. Do I need to bold cancel that stinger?
Lol same here man I started him a couple of weeks ago (I still have trouble with stinger bc teles) and I’ve been juggling between him, vergil, and a couple of other characters.
I’m looking for the best possible combo for my team too but if I have any tips its that you should try to avoid that combo. Its really day one and you can do a lot better.
Your ground bounce won’t be reset because if you’re doing that acid rain extension that means you got the hard knockdown instead of the reset. Your ground bounce gets reset when the last hit connects (the one that knocks them back). So the last portion of your combo won’t work as written. It’s edited below.
You don’t need to TK the acid just do it as soon as you land.
Just by the nature of how stinger works, it always has to be bold cancelled.

Nini I can’t even get yours to work because everytime time :s: misses but cjaycr I was able to do yours and it does almost identical damage to the extension I use in my go to corner combo which is j:h:,,:h:,:f:+:h:xxbold cancel :dp:, j:h:,j:qcf:,j:h:,j:qcf::l:,:s:,j:m::h:,j:qcf::h:,[call vergil, cold shower, jump vertically :qcf::h:,:qcf::l::l:,:dp:,j.:qcf::h:,sometimes I can get reverb in there but not that much,million dollars]
If I substitute the area in brackets with cjaycr’s then I get pretty much the same amount which floats around 750k
I meant instead of sky dance hard knockdown. All I’m getting is followup with :dp: but I can’t do anything after that.
But I have a question, how can I adjust this combo for midscreen because the air :h::qcf::l: whiffs.
I forget what I ended up doing with the cold shower acid rain extension, but if you play with it and vary your cold shower with the Vergil call it should float high enough for you to get an :s: after the acid rain. I also do the maximum amount of shots with cold shower to get a good float, and use the shortcut of holding :s: for the auto-superjump in this instance. For whatever whenever I hit up it doesn’t cancel into super jump. Then you skydance and the combo should work as notated.
If you get the ground bounce reset with Skydance then I think you might be able to do this instead of the acid rain extension:

For midscreen I don’t know if the combo is possible without a Dash up S variation of the combo which has been posted above.
Yeah after looking up every possiblity I cannot get a lv.2 stinger to connect after my Dante/Sentinel shot loop. st.H>Stinger does not work because it’s not the lv.2 wallbounce stinger that comes out after gun attacks. I’m thinking maybe the 2 shot shot loop would help but I don’t know how to even do that one.
