They’re pretty good combos to learn from. The one thing that you may want to keep in mind is that usually Dante’s combos are optimized for damage or meter and not usually both. Shot loops and Air Dash C combos get the best of both worlds, but are the most difficult. As long as your beginner combos are breaking 700k though you’re doing alright.

Can someone update it or post more optimal combos? I try to learn from watching matches, but when I watch players like Yipes, they literally do a different combo every time they hit confirm regardless of mid screen or corner.
I usually do the standard stinger, BC, j.h, air play, j.h, s.S~H~S, Jump/teleport Hammer. This is where I get lost, sometimes the Prop Shredder doesn’t pop them up and they fall out and if they do pop up I never know what I should do to finish. I see a lot of people do hammer, cold shower, stinger BC, skydance, volcano/killer bee, milion dollars. Is this the standard combo to work on?
Also what are the optimal combos off a hit confirm hammer? Volcano, j.H, airplay, j.H… or cold shower, prop shredder acid rain?

Also in order not to fall from the prop shredder try to cancel clay pigeon into prop shredder closer to the ground.So you do S~H wait a little bit and the do S
So I was playing today with my friend (Bee’s team, my friend is not Bee), and I kept dropping those combos on Frank (ta ta ta, Stinger xx BC Volcano jc jC Airplay FRANK PUSHED HALF SCREEN jC land TOO FAR FOR S)
It was driving me crazy as I was thinking, wtf man, you do this combo in your sleep, common get hold of yourself.
as I was thinking how free I am, we decided to check it out in training mode (really? I was sure I already practiced combos on Frank before. Or was it with Strange?).
It seems like Frank literally teleport after the first j.C (before the Air Play) unless you make it tight like hell, moving on to Dante and Spencer I didn’t have and trouble connecting it on them
Just though to mention it in case someone else will run into the same problem.
I think I will stick against him with j.M j.C Killer Bee, it’s work better anyway with my Strange dhc extensions.
These work anywhere on the screen. They are really easy and I recommend doing them in XF3. You just have to dash after the Helm Breaker into Million Carats. The only corner only combos in the video are the Thunderbolt DT combos.
XF2 optimal combos I really can’t say. But those combos are what you should be doing in XF3(except in happy birthdays, since million carats and airplay don’t pick up 2, just Volcano jMHS Volcano xx Beehive, Volcano xx Bee Hive into Million Dollars).

I usually can get 3, 4 if I remove the last s.H and just go straight into s.S and it saves my ground bounce for vergil. Works on every character.
No. Heck no. Dante scales like a bitch. Zero’s minimum damage scaling might as well be unscaled. Dante’s devil trigger is used for neutral game and really shouldn’t be used for combos at all. Sorry. He can do some pretty damaging combos if you start in DT and some of his DT combos are pretty stylish though. Don’t let that deter you from using him though. We need as many skilled dantes as possible. Be sure to share anything you find with the rest of the class.
This is probably the best (practical) solo combo off hammer :
Hammer, Volcano, j.M j.H, Killer Bee, dash back S~C, Stinger, BC Hook, S (delay) C (max shots), S~C (max shots), Reverb Shock, Million Dollar.
Actually no real need for the 2nd loop (just about 20k-30k more damage, 0.3 bar or something), but you do get style points, and it’s not that hard.
I personally like it since it is much less forgiving if you are not sure how far you are from the wall. Anyway it does more damage than simple Stinger BC teleport, Hammer, Volcano Beehive
There is something off down TAC (mentioned few pages earlier), but I think it nothing close to the practical ones of other character (no unfly trick therefore hard as hell)
I’m still alive. I am scared to update the OP again because this site is still bad/in limbo. Everything on the OP was butchered when they switched servers meaning I have to retype everything pretty much. I would rather not do that until the site is stable.
