Ultimate Dante Combo Thread. Jackpot! Yeah baby!

Thanks for the quick reply. Well in that case what I was looking for were Dante’s optimal midscreen and corner bnbs, as well as XF, TAC and super jump confirm combos? And any safe blockstrings and any other Dante setups would be much appreciated :). Im kind of starting from scratch so I can go off of the front page combos to learn his basics, but I also want to make sure im doing the most up to date stuff that everyone is using. Sorry if if this has been said somehwer on this thread, but this thread is as jam packed as Dante’s moveset lol.

I plan to use Taskmaster/Dante/Hawkeye, but I could also go Taskmaster/Dante/Akuma and Taskmaster/Dormammu/Dante.

Ok well as far as combo extensions the only one that can really help you is dormammu. Projectiles like task and hawk are more for mixup and going in but they can still be used.
Mid screen m,h,stinger, BC volcano, jH, air play, jH, S, gun shots, prop shredder, hammer, cold shower, stinger, bc teleport, hammer, (call task) volcanoxxbeehive, (call hawkeye) volcanoxxbeehive, million dollars. Very simple, but, I’m not totally sure what to do with the assist available. I’ll try these out in the lab and come up with something more practical.
Corner m,h,stinger, BC volcano, jH, air play, jH, S, jH, air play, jH, killer bee, back dash S, gun shots, stinger, BC( here you can go easy or hard mode), 1(easy):hammer, volcano beehive, million dollars…2(hard):million carats, stinger, BC volcanobeehive, million dollars.
Xfactor level 2 and up because honestly I don’t think dante benefits from xfactor level 1 at all: Ok basically off of any hard knockdown like jS or hammer just do million carats, volcanoxxbeehive, jS, million carats, volcanoxxbeehive, million dollars. And safe block strings. Cancel standing H into weasel shots call projectile assist as weasel shot is hitting. Teleport before the assist hits to make it a crossup, Blamo.

This is more than I could even expect from someone and I know for a fact that you are helping not only me but others who are also picking up Dante. Hey there. Does anyone have any TAC devil trigger combos? I know they probably aren’t that useful but I want to learn them. I found a video on youtube but there were no notations and a glare on the screen so I couldn’t tell what was being done. Any suggestions for DT TACs?

I’m starting to learn Dante for my Nova/Frank team. On pad. (This should be fun.) Anyone have any tips on what I should start with?

Sorry if someone already asked this, but is there a trick to getting the two volcanos? I can’t get it for my life even once.

I’m assuming you mean in a row. If so. Volcano can be jump cancelled as I’m sure you already know. Any jump cancelable move can have a move that can follow it up by means of tiger kneeing the second move. If you don’t know what that is. It’s adding a :uf: to the end of any motion. So the input for a volcano cancelled into another volcano would be :dp::m:xx:dp::uf::m:

I’m referring to the thing with the volcano then air dash then another volcano. Sorry if I worded it poorly. I’m still trying to figure out the timing and what normals to use in between those two volcanos

Ohhh ok. I dabbed into the jump cancel C tech a little. I don’t use it because I don’t like its inconsistency, but from what I learned, after the volcano hit and you hold up back you actually wait longer than you think. But when you input the ADF+H it has to be fairly fast. So try testing out the quickness of the ADF+H and the timing of the back jump.Once you land the ADF+H do Standing H then another volcano.

Help real Dante players! whats the absolute most damage you can get with just Vajra assist in the corner? (best starter, optimal combo even if impractical, etc). I want to see how much of a fraud I am.

Atm I’m getting somewhere between 815K and 840 after million dollars haven’t really tried to optimise it though, not played Marvel for a while so can’t remember. Hopefully someone posts something saucy

Insaynne helped me out by showing me the same combo that I figured out, but in a video from like 6 months ago lol! It was the 3x volcano + vajra starter, then I go into gun loops. Does like 845 off of j.H, c.M, s.H xx Stinger. For me, its easier than IAD j.H, so I might even use it. =D

Wait, you can do clay pigeon in the corner? How? Might be able to squeeze out more damage on mine if that’s the case.
As for IAD combo, it’s literally the only combo in any game in my 15+ years of playing FGs I’ve had to macro buttons for x_x Now I just double tap my air dash button and GGs commence.

and for the corner I usually do what jericho posted. I’m always looking for more optimized combos though. The triple volcano seems like it would do more damage and look more stylish, but it is way to difficult to perform consistently for me to want to use it in a serious fight.
