Anyone know the optimal stuff Dante can do with Zero’s Ryuenjin assist?
An air tech is too random. TQ (who I think is the most stylish MvC3 Dante) has a video on resets but they all rely on the opponent using a neutral tech. If you want a reset, the best is to cause an air tech in the corner and do Twister

In the corner you can get cold shower (or S->clay pigeon)->stingerlvl2 (delay)->call Zero->acid rain->volcano->j.S
Outside of the corner you’d do cold shower (or S->clay pigeon)->stinger lvl2->BC teleport->rain storm->call Zero->hammer.
Not really sure what other stuff you can get with it. Haven’t played around with early Ryuenjin combos or sougenmu’d Ryuenjin combos (I think sougenmu’d Ryuenjin gets you a double acid rain extension).

Yeah it is also possible, but after grapple i like to do the unblockable or teleport+beam or hawkeye’s arrow assist, and use a jump dash and j.H to cross over, or just do a cr.L because they are expecting a high attack, i also like to do jump air grabs in the corner, because zero’s ryuenjin or Vergil’s rapid slash allow you to easy combo after wards, but in midscreen is not possible with those assists, dante has a lot of cool stuff, and a lot of preople don’t expect airgrabs when you are using dante, so they are unpredictable.
Need help: how does one consistently convert off Magneto Beam Assist?
This should be your primary confirm off Disruptor, you can go for fancier loops or add another assist, but this is what works and it works well and it’s fairly consistent.

Okay… seriously trying to pick up Dante now. What are some good combos using Vergil’s Rapid Slash assist? Also, any advice for the timing of the TAC infinite? They seem to drop out after I land and do the first jumping medium most of the time.
Air Throw, Then:
Mash H for 3 hits while calling Disruptor, cancel the 3rd H into Killer bee and that will work. You should have a 9 hit combo if you time it correctly, the followup really depends on your execution and assists but you need to do the general stuff that ignores hitstun scaling.
Blah blah blah -> groundbounce, S + call Vergil xx H, superjump (or teleport) Sky Dance, Beehive
—From here you can either use your renewed groundbounce with Dante, or DHC into Vergil and let him use it instead. Leaving a ground/wallbounce for Vergil will greatly improve your max damage output - I can get ~1.2 mil off of just the DHC and one Swords loop rep. It’s not always the most meter-efficient approach, though, especially if you only need ~825k dmg to get a kill (low hp chars, weakened chars) - in these situations, let Beehive hit and do Stinger xx Jet Stream xx Fireworks xx super
(In corner) Cold shower + call Vergil, Acid Rain, Volcano -> j.S
There’s some fancy stuff Yipes does with TK Acid Rain into Rapid Slash into another Acid Rain but I have no idea how the fuck that works

I am pretty sure acid rain, j.m + call vergil xx hammer, acid rain (immediately after you land from hammer), 5s sj.s works, which saves the devil trigger
Did that a few times, however it is really inconsistent between the Vergil assist hit and 2nd acid rain, also between the 2nd acid rain hit and 5S… maybe it’s just crappy execution
This game is so fucking glitchy, but for once I found a glitch that actually kinda sorta hurts Dante and only seems to apply to him as far as I can tell.
I was trying to find combo extensions using Eye of Agamotto assist. For an OTG extension I found Rain Storm (full mash) + call Eye > Hammer to be the best I could get at the end of a combo without them spinning out. Where it got weird was when I tried to do a combo extension after a ground bounce reset. Now whenever I try creating something new I always do that part of the combo alone about 20 or so times before doing it in the full combo to see if it actually works so I won’t mess it up. This works perfectly by itself: Beehive > Call Eye > slight delay > Stinger xx Bold Move > j.S xx Hammer > whatever. But as soon as you put it in a combo it doesn’t work, and **not **because of them flipping out because of hitstun scaling. For some reason the j.S cannot be canceled to Hammer after the full combo into Sky Dance ground bounce reset.
At first I thought I was just messing up, but then I realized 3 things: there is no way canceling to hammer from j.S is this hard, my displayed inputs were perfect, and the animation of j.S kinda glitches through the opponent straight to the ground. So to be sure I put the combo extension part on Record (starting from the Beehive that would come after Sky Dance) and executed it perfectly. Sure enough when I hit playback during the combo it did the exact same thing and j.S could not cancel to Hammer.
What. the. fuck?
Anyway, if any of you guys have already made up good combo extensions with Dante/Strange (preferably with EoA) please let me know (or refer me to the post) because I’m about ready to give up on this.
Yosh, so here’s the deal. A friend of mine gave me an assignment to come up with a dante combo that breaks 800k without assists, or x factor, and it can only use one bar in a week. I told him I’d do my best but the best combo I came up with only dealt 764k.
So my first question is. Is it possible?
Second, would somebody help me with it?

So I’m looking for some combos with Dante that do over 750k solo no x-factor. My team is Dante/Vergil/Mags I know I can dhc spiral swords and get over a mil with one loop but that’s three meters. I don’t want to spend more than two to kill someone. Even though the team builds meter rather quickly
Well there is a 800k damage combo with one bar using vergil rapid slash assist, i could be wrong about the damage but it shouldn’t be less than 790k; so here it is: j.H>.cr.M>s.H>stinger>BC volcano>j.H>air play>j.H>s.H>s.S>j.M>j.M>j.H>beehive>s.S~H~Stinger>BC Teleport>Hammer>Cold Shower+Vergil Rapid Slash> Sky Dance>Beehive>Stinger>BC Volcano~Beehive>Million Dollars.
When you are using it mid screen you should delay it a little, or you could do a double jump after the first j.M in the air series, it is also possible to do a s.H after beehive, but it flips out a lot of the times because of hitstun scaling, also sometimes it is better to ommit the last >Stinger>BC Volcano~Beehive>Million Dollars and do Million Dollars before the first beehive ends so you can save the ground bounce for Vergil after DHCing into Spiral Swords, well there are other options like the double acid rain stuff, but this is easier and it gives you the chance to reset the so much loved ground bounce for vergil, hope it helps bro.

That’s what’s up, and yeah I know about the double acid rain combos it’s just I haven’t practiced those enough to get mid match. And on top of that im looking for something mid-screen but most his combos wall carrier and do a little under 740
