Can anyone confirm that this combo I’m trying is impossible?
j:s: :m::h::s: uvg bomber :m::h::s: uvg dash back :qcf::uf::m::m: fall back :s: zip :f: zip :df: uvg call vergil assist (rapid slash) bomber uvg call wesker uvg bionic maneuvers. The timing is tight for vergil assist because if you call him early uvg doesn’t hit but if you call him late enough that it does hit wesker doesn’t come out and I am stressed out because it looks like a good combo.

If anything I’ll use
j:s: :m::h::s: uvg bomber :m::h::s: uvg call vergil assist (rapid slash) bomber uvg dash back :qcf::uf::m::m: fall back :s: zip :f: zip :df: uvg call wesker uvg bionic maneuvers.

Whats spencers best midscreen combo with no assists?
(practical off a hit confirm)

Correct me if I’m wrong but raw M-H-S>UVG should not work on any character besides Sentinel at the start of a combo if they’re grounded.

Works on most like large characters.
For example nova, ghost rider, dormamu, hulk, nemesis, tron ( I’m not sure about these but hagger vergil, wesker, magneto, prolly doom and cap) but sadly not THOR :frowning:
Why would they do that???

My team is Akuma, Spencer , Hawkeye in that same order

I’ve been having trouble w/ the zip loop into upwards wire grapple, any help?

And since I couldn’t do that I made a combo that kills 2 meter.

j.s, s.MHS, j.mmh(delay)s, bionic bomber (while coming down), s.MHS, qcf.H, L xxx Bionic Maneuver, OTG, (DELAY THE SHIT OUT OF) S, armor piercer xxx Bionic Maneuver, OTG

Solid 1 mil damage easy to do w/ a little practice. You can switch out Bionic Maneuver w/ Bionic Arm for easier OTG but it doesn’t kill.

Started using the newer rendition of the zip loop Duck Strong pointed out c.LMH, zip :uf:, falling j.M, land, j.MH, zip :df:, j.S, j.MH, zip :df:, j. S, j.MH, zip :df: zip :df: UVG

Can you practice this is the corner or it has to be done mid screen. Is there any delaying involved. Sorry for the stupid questions. Just trying to get better grasp of this jump loop

I’ve had instances where I couldn’t get the UVG to hit at the end when doing it in the corner, but I haven’t taken enough time to figure out why. My best guess is that because you’re in the corner and the zips are traveling shorter horizontal distances and therefore aren’t getting as low to the ground, the hit stun doesn’t last long enough for you to land then get the UVG doing the standard midscreen timing. However, the differences between doing it midscreen and doing it in the corner are marginal so it doesn’t become much of a problem once you are familiar with it. I would suggest, however, start by practicing it primarily midscreen so that you get the basic timing down, then work on making it universal.

Thats his basic bnb and when you say zip loop thats a full screen combo which isn’t ideal in or near the corner. Only from beyond midscreen and farther. I go for damage 24/7 so you can do
if in corner:
j:s: :m::h::s: uvg bomber :m::h::s: uvg dash back :qcf::uf::m::m: fall back :s: zip :f: zip :df: uvg maneuvers. This one (I think) is around the 900k to 950k mark for one bar.
If near corner:
j:s: :m::h::qcf::l::l: wave dash forward bomber :m::h::s: uvg dash back :qcf::uf::m::m: fall back :s: zip :f: zip :df: uvg. This one works on almost the entire cast and if its for small characters instead of :m::h::s: uvg just do :m::h: uvg.
This one is (I don’t remember) but I think its 850+k but I don’t remember so you’ll have to try it out.

I’m also feeling more comfortable with GX’s version of the jump loop myself

In the corner just do j:m::h::s: :df::atk::s: UVG at the last rep. Works always

Sorry if this is off topic but I’d really recommend spencer first. Akuma can easily dhc from him. Also spencer benefits a whole lot from akuma and hawkeye assists and tbh akuma is best as anchor(3), as for hawkeye he’s best on point(1) or anchor(3) and spencer is good as point or anchor, but I feel hawkeye and akuma are both much better anchors so it’s good to put spencer as first and hawkeye/akuma as second or third.

Also ummmm I’d reccomend watching knives. He’s a great spencer that uses akuma and he makes them look great together. He also shows off a lot of good tech with them. As for combos there aren’t any really good one’s with that team for spencer. I mean there are a couple but I doubt they are worth it. I’d recommend working on solo combos like the zip loop and his corner bnb. Which you can look up on youtube (look up spencer zip loop and spencer corner bnb for them) . If you want to use mine I just responded to chickenbutt with my corner and near corner bnbs solo.

Nah, it’s just standard chain timing more or less which is why I prefer it. That plus there isn’t a need to change the loops according to the opponent’s character to account for size or fall speed (as far as I know, haven’t tested it on RR, but it works just the same on Zero, Mag, Sent, and Hulk as it does on every other normal sized character)
