Lol you don’t need to use :s: for all of his combos cept for a couple. For 90% of them you can use cr :h::s: then tk up grapple makes the timing tons easier. He rarely does raw :s:
Also sorry for reposting but I’d really like some help with this.
When I do an air grapple with spencer I see most follow with :s: zip forward, zip downforward then up grapple.
Does that up grapple have to be tk’d?
And any tips on landing it I’m execution-ally challenged.
Also would it be better to do that one or air down grapple zip df zip db and then up grapple.
hello pepe le peepse
i had seen a video of spencer pwning r coon in one combo but i cant seem to find it
is there anyway that some of you will be kind enough to post this video?
thanks
Im interested in how cap can extend for spencer…vid or notations please …sorry if it was already posted
Can someone explain the right way of performing this combo sj.H, DF zip, j.H, Up grapple. Im all about practicing till I get it. I been trying to do this combo for two days now. Prolly got 4 times. Any advice? Anyone?
i personally use jM instead of the first jH…dont forget the delay of coarse…i find the jM much easier to get the whole thing with
People just hate me
I’ll ask yet again

Not always … if you hit S after df.zip then you have to tk it otherwise you can follow up with the regular h grapple. You have to be at a certain height for that to work though. If the opponent is any higher you will have to hit S and then tk the H grapple.
Personally, what i do is after tk’ing the m grapple I let the opponent fall down for a second and then hit them with the S fwd.zip, df.zip.That allows me to hit the H grapple perfectly as i land without the need to tk it
I tried with the with J.M never worked for me. Then I tried it with the J.H I got on the second try so I decided to stick with the J.H. But not All the time After the down zip I can’t get the following J.H to hit. Still gonna keep at it tho. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong

Here is the break down of the Spencer Tech. I made a video to break it down so its easier to understand for those of you who are interested.
Thank you so much lol. I’ve been delaying i just need practice.

Relatively easy combo that almost completely optimizes Spencer’s damage potential. Honestly Capcom really needs to do something about UVG, Spencer’s ability to do huge damage simply by exploiting the possibility of landing as many of those as possible is insane. Not that I mind though what do you people think about the combo? By the way I’ll post the annotation if someone asks, I’m too lazy to do it otherwise <_<
No offense, but that’s far from optimal. You used 2 supers.
Not even close to optimal.
Well what could you have done to improve the combo? I’m open to criticism here
For starters, never use the word “optimal” unless you very specifically define the parameters of what it is. “optimal midscreen, optimal corner, optimal off jawbreaker, optimal for 2 bars” blah blah blah. the actual optimal combo for maximum damage off a Spencer hit confirm probably isn’t even known yet, though at present it’d likely be Spencer/Joe/Doom doing 8 UVGs or something stupid like that.
Once you define how you’re trying to optimize, (something like “Spencer/Wesker/Doom, Midscreen, 2 bars, L hit confirm”) then ask how to improve it. there’s always somebody more clever out there for squeezing in a bit more ;).
Ok yeah I’m probably to blame there ignoring the optimized part, what would you say about the combo? does it seem worth it to spend 2 bars like that?
You probably could have added a bionic bomber into mhs uvg for an extra 100-150k
Ummm ok I started doing air zip fall back :s: zip forward zip downforward and then :h: grapple.
I noticed a couple of things if you end it in :s: into uvg it will work on everyone cept raccoon and like 3 others. Works on wolverines class.
Also is it possible to do that after a long combo because after the :s: when I try to zip they fall out. I’m hoping thats not the case.
Yea, :s: XX uvg doesn’t work on chars with typical small or weird hit boxes like shorties.
You should definitely go for full jump loops, free damage technically, since all your follow ups more or less ignore hit-stun. And that way you can do missiles before your first super. The later you super the better so you know you didn’t have to waste meter. Also I would call doom before you call Wesker, for a bit better scaling, and also pretty sure the other way around doesn’t work.
If your closer, you should always go for bomber stuff.
