People need to play more different games.
Like MB and GGXX.
it’s amazing how many UK players there actually are back in business and active on-line now… between this thread and the other UK one there’s probably more posts than cornertrap or neoempire ever got.
On topic, the only relevant games that I think would get headz into troc are CVS2 and NGBC, plus maybe KOF XI when it’s out… games like melty blood and rumble fish will end up like GG is in there now. Getting the machines set up right, making better use of space and making the place ventolated and comfortable are more important than getting the latest weird and wonderful 2D jap fighters int what is a very conservative arcade culture atm.
Yo UK peeps – just wanted to give a quick shout out to all the guys I met last week at Troc. Good games and everyone was cool as shit (except for one Makoto player on Monday night who couldn’t even say good game).
Chunkis, sucks we never got to play dude, but thanks for getting everyone down there.
Word to Bass V – sorry I couldn’t get lit with you after the games. Next time. 
Speaking of which, I’ll be in Paris 22 Oct. - 6 Nov. coming up to party in London for at least a few days. I’ll hit everyone up before I come and maybe we can get some games in again.

Cool stuff Will, Nice to meet you man, that Mokoto guy you played was non other then Izu from Japan who was in the UK same time as you, he was in the troc with Harmonaz (akuma/ryu player), the reason Izu didnt respond to you is cause he can just about string a sentence together slowly in english, I suppose it’s like someone coming up to you and speakin Cambodian. Izu’s cool man he described playing you when I saw him later he said “cool games”. Also you played a new player that’s over from Hong Kong called Sean, he also spoke highly of you. Also a big up from Damion (Q) and PeaceMan (ken/necro).

Hi Will sorry I never got to play you, dunno if you managed to read my PM to you while you were down here, I even tried to get Peaceman and Damien to bring you down to my house for a session but they said you had to go to dinner later that evening on sunday, no worries tho hope to play you again when your in London, infact 28th october we should be having one of our ranking battles, so thats always something to look forward if you can make it. Wow, didn’t think that guy was Izu – I mean he wasn’t bad, but I’ve played Ino and K.O.'s Makotos before and he was nowhere close to that level IMO.

I don’t think he plays as hardcore as he use too, still he bust up alot of heads and is a cool guy.

im 100 percent sure that st and 3s would be seen at “new trocadero” but a tip is that making sure cvs2 is there aswell…
first time i’ve seen this thread and can’t read it all due to being lazy…
Troc should introduce pad ports into most of the beat’em up machines that would sure as heck get my attention.
I know more than enough people that are intimidated by playing on stick and gettin pwned when they’re more comfortable on a pad or their own stick
tournies should be more common place and held weekly/monthly for each game not just beat’em ups aka DDR etc. and they should be advertised on a website or a wall or something so people actually know about them.
put a 1 coin into the machine and get a free credit so 3 credits for the price of 2
machines should be organised into sections all the beat’em ups in one place shooters in another and so on.
VS cabinets because they rock!!
Multiple machines aren’t that necessary i mean two is ok but 5 etc is just to many. to many machines to choose from means people end up playing by themselves. and most people are more keen to throw in another credit when they get owned by a person rather than the computer.
Getting extra credits for more money is a bad idea for fighting games seeing as when it’s crowded you want people off the machine when they lose, not playing two more times to use up their credits.
I don’t think anybody’s suggesting having 5 cabs for any game, and besides people are going to go to the machines where they see people playing, it’s not like they’re gonna just play on an empty cab just because it’s there when there’s others with people playing on them 
2 vs city cabs right next each other. That’s what I saw there yesterday, thats right twice the 3s, friday nights should be cooler now.

Are there only people playing at Troc on Friday nights? It’s expensive for me to get down to London, but I have somewhere to stay so I can justify it if I can get a few days of play in. Don’t know if just one day in a week could cut it.

Fuck that, there’s no need for two 3s machines, not thats many people play it on a fridays anyway. You get more Alpha 3 players on fridays.
We need more games to choose from not the same games. What happened to putting ST on a VS cab?
And replace what game?
Not about seeing all OLD games on every VS cab.
it’s all about ST. cvs2 isn’t exactly new but we need that too. I’d rather they’d put ST in insted of another 3s. did they replace GGXX?

Virtua Striker 4 needs to be replaced cos that’s just a waste of space. It’s cool that the changes are taking place.
This was discussed at Goodge street but nothing happened. If Troc pull this off I wont care about anything else.
