you’re misdirecting your anger, scott. it’s the american gamers at texas showdown who were acting goofy and over the top. american gamers like yourself. if you saw some crazy middle-aged woman in japan infatuated with danny devito, you wouldn’t blame “american culture” for it.
Uh the top 4 in Marvel are really versatile too, I know “MSS-proj and MSS-ground are two completely different teams” is a cliche example but there’s truth to it. You see a ton of playstyle diversity among Marvel players IMO, I can see where from an aesthetic standpoint people might find it boring though I guess. I only have a basic understanding of the game and I still never really get tired of watching top-level play.
