I am a junior in computer engineering who a still has a GPA high enough to apply for grade school in computer engineering, and I have enough credit to graduate next semester and I am taking 21 hours of course load this semester, and still I find a least an hour every day to practice. I even asked for a copy of third strike but I haven’t heard anything from you guys.
So holy shit guys. better organization so that we can get together and play more, because that sucks that I have to think about how much money I am going to have to lose every time I go to a tournament ( outside UIUC), while other think about how much fun and money they are going to make depending on how many people are going to show up…

I actually know the guys who work at Volition and play a few fighting games. Last I heard, some cleaning person THREW AWAY their 3S CPS board, thinking it was trash or something. I’m not sure if they got a new one or what, but they were pretty pissed when they came back to find it gone. I don’t think they are the best players in the world, though I have never played them (I play volleyball with them every once in a while at the Champaign Park District). Anyway, I’ll ask them if they have a machine now and are playing somewhat regularly, and if they’d be open to the idea of you guys possibly playing on the machine there some time.
