i tried the fireballs and they are pretty good but i feel like zero really doesn’t have a problem opening someone up and so a good get the fuck off me assist would be better
i dono free 50/50s sound pretty good to me

Gotta side with James and Brock on the R.R. assist. I was debating on what I should use as Strange’s assist, too, but then they pointed out how amazing the Bolts are. Having a free 50/50 IS pretty amazing. :wgrin:
R.R.'s gun assist is probably the better assist I just feel zero gets more from the pendulum than he would from the gun assist. For other characters it might be different but quite frankly once zero is getting pressured its hard for him to get someone off of him and even then Zero still gets 50/50 with the pendulum assist.
Zero should almost never be in the position where he’s blocking. He has so much mobility and his normals are amazing. (I didn’t even add in the fact Raikousen cancel Buster Shot is one of the best zoning tools in the game until just now) If anything get off me assists just give you bad habits and you become dependent on them and not blocking mixups properly in the first place.
James come out to GGA soon, I wanna see your Nova tech since nobody here is taking him seriously.
Sometime soon i hope. Nova is sadly my weakest character currently although frank is arguably my worst if he doesnt get to lv3+ which is what Nova is for.
Black Friday was good to me
Black Friday was horrible for me ended up working an 11 hour shift
i so fucking frunk i don trbvrt noe my own nem IDS IDS IDSI FDI FDI IFD IFD IFD
I work 12 hours a day, 4 days a week.
When I worked at Best Buy, I put in over 15 on every black friday I worked.
Yeah…quit bitching, Krisjin. Also…everyone needs to main KoF XIII. lol Best fighting game ever – no troll.
Must be fun to play a game by yourself. Online play is ass on that game, so I refuse. Like, you have to TRY to make your netcode worse than MvC3.
Other than that I’ve heard it’s good. But oh well, SNK failed again.
KOFXIII could probably be the best game currently played but SNK keeps fucking up.
lol It’s definitely better than [Vanilla] MVC’s, Brock. Don’t believe everything you read… :bluu:
Besides…
I’m sick of waiting for a fighting game to give me perfect online. If I let imperfect online keep me from buying a 2D fighting game, I wouldn’t own any. lol KoF is at LEAST as playable as MVC, and it’s damn-sure easier to follow if the lag does happen to spike. Even with the improvement to MVC’s online (which was pretty significant), it’s still only mediocre at best.
Im not asking for perfect online play, but SSF4AE level at least. KoF doesnt hit that expectation, so no thanks. Plus, I have a much more tournament viable game to learn in UMvC3.
Sad… Like James said, KoF is probably the best fighting game that a fan could possibly ask for currently, and it’s going to be ignored yet again. sigh
Regardless, I’m going to play the hell out of it. Practicing by myself in Training Mode is nothing new to me cough, cough, TVC, cough, so this doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Besides, like I said: KoF has playable online! lol Sure, it’s not perfect, but it still provides the opportunity to play against other players. Furthermore, the connection has been decent in my recent, albeit limited, experience. I’m still able to hop on and apply not only what I’ve learned in Missions/Training but also learn new things.
The one glaring downside I’ve seen so far is the lack of a spectator mode. However, we *do *live in the glorious age of patches, so I’m anxiously waiting for an update to smooth out the last few wrinkles to an otherwise perfect fighting game. Don’t get me wrong, I really REALLY like SFIV and MVC. But real talk, folks: neither of them is even coming close to the quality of KoF XIII. This is literally the fighting game I’ve been waiting for since 3S, and I’ll support it on that merit alone.
I’m not gonna bust anyone’s balls for not running out and buying it though. This is just my take on it.
End novel. :wgrin:
I’ll probably pick up KOF tomorrow
I like to do combos
i’ll probably pick up KoF as well i had it on my old laptop and it was fun but i didn’t have anyone to play with so i just stopped
If someone buys it for me, I’ll play it.
My birthday is coming up. Jussayin.
