Our brains also create multiple types of complex stimuli hence why one person enjoys a different kind of stimuli then another.
I didn’t say videogames are natural, I said that they are a natural result of our ingenuity, something manufactured for a biologically primitive purpose by using our higher order brains. It’s like a saying cooking meat isn’t natural because we as humans are the only animals to use fire. Videogames are just a complex concoctions of a simple need.

Humans have an inherent need for play. Whether that be videogames, throwing sheep knuckles, etc, whatever. Every culture that has ever existed has had games as part of their lives, it could even be something as simple as hid and go seek.
GM and WS’s point goes straight to that primal need of ours, nothing’s changed except for the technology.

In the truer sense of that line of thought, for something to be in one’s nature means that we are wired a certain way. On the flip side, one’s nature can be something completely atrocious, say a serial killer for instance. It may be in that persons nature to be that way, but that doesn’t mean that people in general are predisposed to being that way.

As I’d posit that there is indeed an overall general human nature, with several differences/deviations depending on the gender as well as any individual quirks. By saying this I don’t say all humans act exactly the same, but that we all share basic evolved behaviors/tendencies between us(the need for play that GM/WS mentioned)
