Keits, then there was no reason to make ST an “official event”, seeing as how – though though I personally had spend hours rearranging and rediscussing the entire format of Tournament of Legends because you insisted on being apart of itt – you ran the only Tournament of Legends qualifier that didn’t follow a single stipulation of what a qualifier had to be. ($20 entry, 3/5 throughout) for no reason other than “I can’t change it” even though you expected me to literally change everything to get you in.
And on top of you take money for ST like it’s an official game but Jesus you apparently gave toys out for Special Events 1 & 2 and the Mystery Game tournament and not the winning seed for the $4000 event that you begged to be let into even though we all know the Midwest does not need 3 seeds. I mean that’s your choice but I’d be mad too if I won and actually wanted one of those, yeah I’d feel really cheated and if you don’t understand people are hurt, confused and probably didn’t realize that was going to happen … just lol.
Zenblaster has done more for the scene without benefitting himself or asking for anything in any way than almost anyone I’ve known in the scene, ever. And wow, I hope a sponsor doesn’t notice you being a condescending shithead to a constituent like this – I get sick of telling you kindly and privately “Stop being a selfish, defensive jerk when things don’t go 100% your way and people don’t 100% agree with your POV” over the years so I’m not even going to try to understand what your deal is anymore lol. But yeah thanks for banning ST from your future events because as long as I’m on the ToL committee you won’t be apart of future plans due to your treatment of Zenblaster and ToL anyway.
Why would you feel cheated? I never once said anything about “toys” being given for ST, VS, EX3, or 3S. I specifically said which games would get them. Lets not even dance around the fact that Mystery Game Tournament nearly quadrupled the entries for ST and VS, and that both the special events doubled them, which more than earned them their “toy”. Is it my fault if you didn’t read or understand that information? Where does this entitlement come from?
I insisted on being part of ToL because I’ve been an avid ST supporter for years and was left out of the discussion in the first place. I wanted to do my part.
I didn’t ban ST from my tournaments (I said no Arcade ST next year). I didn’t mistreat Zenblaster or ToL (It was your decision to let me run my event that already had pre-registrations at the $10 price WITH OFFER to pay the 20% or whatever to the main pot OUT OF MY POCKET. I give Zenblaster free hotel every year for his help, and he was certainly welcome to breakfast coupons on me, but decided instead to make assumptions and act like a jerk on an internet forum instead of coming to me face to face when he didn’t understand what happened). This isn’t “things not going my way or people don’t agree 100%”. This is outright disrespect for bullshit reasons, and maybe walking away from piss comments like those is the right move, but I was just too tired for that.
“Official” event means we take pre-reg and my staff runs it. It doesn’t mean I buy a 200 dollar trophy for a title I’m donating money for in the first place that has a small pre-reg number.
I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, but I made the information as clear and available as I could.
Also, some of the things you just said are blatant lies. I have logs if you’d like me to post them.
