Time and resources. ST runs on arcade and takes up none of my PS3s or the time spent on them. You are perfectly welcome to run a side event for HDR in the byoc room. Just be aware that all side event players must stay at their pools as scheduled, so side events need to wait on these people.

Has there been any consideration of not running the tournament matches on PS3 given the issues with frames dropping and visible slowdown during matches?

This is not a possibility. Not only do we wish to be in-line with what Evo runs their event on, but our equipment provider (Gaming Generations) is already contracted to bring in PS3s. A change at this time is impossible.

i know ST is better. I actually prefer it but i know some of the HDR only heads would come if hdr is played. For some reason, all the ppl who prefer hdr hate St.
