UFGT7 - Evo 2011 Tournament Season Qualifier - Chicago IL - May 27-29, 2011

For such a small difference in price I want to see a line of limos outside of the hotel.

I’m down to volunteer. Northbrook is a whopping 15 minutes from my house and I’d love to help out.

Limbo - Added to the list.

Andre - glad to hear you figured it out.

I’m also down to help out.

For teams i call Keits lol Oh and single Elim? i understand you want it to be fast but geez

Its not that I want it to be fast, its that I need it to be. Plus, I want people to have the experience of an SBO style teams event. I probably wont have time to play in it.

what exactly is going on Friday? i need to know so i can know when to fly in…i would fly in thursday but i cant afford to book 4 nights

I’m pretty sure it’s a bit soon to schedule games, registration’s only been going for just over a week.

The tournament is Friday/Saturday. All pools are going down both days. Sunday is finals, Evo style.

If you are coming to this event, you need to be there all three days.

Pools start at 12 Noon on Friday.

seems like i dont have a choice to fly in thursday…anyone wanna room up? i cant afford the room alone

What airline are you guys using? southwest? im poor!

I missed the Midwest major for the first time in 8 years last year. Making amends for that this year. See you guys for Marvel and VS.

Just bought my venue fee!/first stickbag! I’m really really hype for this event, gonna be my first fighting game tournament that isn’t smash, and i’m pretty excited that it’s in my native Chicago! I’ll definitely come up from NOLA for this. Gotta practice dat vamp some more!

Hey guys, I just wanted to remind you that Early Bird Registration ends tonight at midnight. After that, the price goes up to 30 dollars (from 25).

Questions have been coming in about the Shirts and Stick bags. You will be handed these items when you check in at the door at the event on May 26th or May 27th. They will not be shipped to you in advance, as they will not be ready until the last minute (once all orders are in). On top of that, if I did ship it, you’d get it after the event was over anyway.

Remember that the Mystery Game Tournament caps at 128 players, and is a DIFFERENT GAME every ROUND of the tournament. Over 80 different software titles will be played in this event.

how do arcade stick bags work? like a slot with padding for the joystick and what not? any help appreciated!!

Its just a shoulder bag that is large enough to fit a MadCatz TE stick. Makes walking around with one a lot more comfortable at events.

I’ll be trying my best to attend, unfortunately I won’t know until May, but here’s hoping.

Thanks for integrating the Poker-style payout into your tournament, Keits. Mad respect for that, man. I can’t wait.

I just finished registering =]
I just got two questions: 1) Do I have to present something at the event to prove my registration? 2) If I wanted to register for something else later on down the line, I can do that right?

Sorry if these were answered earlier, I haven’t had time to keep up with this thread =\

1.) From the registration website - "All registrants will need a copy of their paypal reciept at the door to pick up their wristband/event badge. "

2.) No, you need to complete your registration in one shot. You cannot edit it later by adding or removing games.

Let me know if you need any more help.
