well, if you plan to host ricecooker, make sure it’s okay with your roommates, and then pick a time when you’re free to host. Those who can come will usually come.

Edit: Well, I’m on campus chilling at Shogun for people to come. Surprisingly, my old account works so I can go online with my laptop. I checked out 2nd player to see how bad the buttons are. Lol this whole ‘no throwing’ reminds me of Sirlin’s article about how throwing was once considered cheap when SF2 just came out.
I played against some people when I was at UCSD. One guy wear a greenish colored hat and another dude was a darker skinned Asian guy. Having no throw sucks pretty bad. I felt bad throwing with 1st player since they can never tech out of the throw. GG’s to the people there. Sucks I couldn’t see more people.

Alright guys, my roomies have allowed me to host on friday, 5 - 8 pm. The only issue at the moment is that I offered to help my aunt with moving and she asked for help on Friday and Saturday. I don’t think I’ll be able to go help her anyway as my sister will be taking the car to LA and I have no other way to get there, but until I can clear it up it’s still tentative.
Even then, we’d need someone to bring sticks (I’m in the process of getting one myself).
Food and drink can be provided, assuming that people are willing to help cover the cost. But first, who can even make it on friday :o?
