I do c. short x3, s. RH. It’s a guard crush string that kinda sucks, but for some reason, people have copied it…anyway, c.short gives a measly +3, while far s. RH comes out in 8 frames. That’s 5 frames where your Ryu/Cammy can DP it and bait the sakura player to try a wakeup-RC.
Of course…I myself am trying to kick that GC habit…I tend to do c. mp xx RH hurricane kick more often. In that case…I do have the +3 advantage, but if I get greedy and try for an RC-hurricane, you can throw me. Anyway, if you know someone is gonna use that retarded GC string, then DP away…
I think ideally, a good GC string is c. strong xx RH hurricane kick, s.jab (no holes if you got the timing down, possible counter hit if you don’t) xx another RH hurricane kick, and now you’re far enough away in which an RC-RH hurrican kick can be done without fear of a throw. If I could RC more consistently…this is what I would be doing more often.
I meant to tell you off a while ago, but I was preoccupied with other, more heterosexual matters.
Anyways, I don’t know whotf “RYU”/oro guy is, but I know a REMY/oro guy with shades. I can only assume you’re talking about brother Kha because he’s the only guy who uses oro (and is halfway decent …to exclude albino #2). Maybe that’s why you think his ryu is ass …he doesn’t fucking play that character. Perhaps he chose him on a whim to see what he was like one time when I wasn’t there and of course sucked because he doesn’t use him.
In other news, thanks for all the anti gaykura tips. It’s really N-groove that gives me the shits because allen doesn’t do the custom when I have at least one stock (all the time), he just does repetetive and annoying ambiguous crossups and mashes on shorts (just like he does with riot iori… short short short, whatever the fuck eliot does I’ll just do crouching shorts. Oh, they connected, combo/super/etc.)
yet the score is 9-4 in favor of eliot and he still complains that i’m not letting him learn the game.
we lose in dota cuz eliot tries to KS all my creep kills, and so does abel…i swear you guys should just give your items to me and i’ll rape their base with bones. it’ll be funny trust me. i’ll get to lvl like 14 with mkb, butterfly, burize and just do the “win the game alone” tactic with bones…we should try that once.
::sigh:: cvs2 comp at zz sucks, 3s CHUN TIME FOR ALL!!!
Unless youre really bored/someone good is playing, playing cvs2 at zz is total trash cause it just brings your game down. I went “panpi”(scrub)-hunting today with k-cbs, ino would be proud…lol
What’re your bnet screennames, we’ll just add 'em to the list to talk to you while on b.net. We’re usually in channel uci after 5 pm, sometimes during the day, too. When do you usually play?
such a bold, blanket term…
aren’t i part of the zz competition? what about allen, khoa, eliot, doug, etc…
another point: we have all lost to mike recently. is he still bad competition? Please tell me why you think yes.
BTW, on the issue of the buttons…I am as clueless as my boss; she only knows that primetime is ordering them…and that the buttons should have already come in…but for whatever reason, they’re being lazy. I am not around much in the mornings; maybe someone who is will next time bug the technician to do his job.
dentron said unless someone good is playing, cvs2 is total trash.
i.e. doug fucking around with weird teams, and the rest of us not showing up as much.
mike is good competition. i still remember that one time i lost badly to him. i was using A-blanka and dentron wanted to eat(though having the need to throw my game doesn’t affect the outcome) i randomly activate, somehow i luckily land the custom on mike. seeing how i can beat him if i finish my custom, i “accidnetally” dropped him and tried to fake out his raged ratio2 sagat by walking straight forward while still activated. with great strength and power, mike skillfully does wakeup super against my advance tactic of not doing anything.
Yeah mike is REALLY good competition (yesterday: me-7 mike-1), i mean he beat me ONE WHOLE TIME yesterday by putting a r2 sagat vs my r1 k-ryu (even though the first time he did that he beat up my ryu with almost full life, then i proceded to KICK HIS ASS with my terrible r1 k-sagat, GJ!!!) not only that, he was ripping off some blanka tricks i was using and tried to USE THEM AGAINST ME!!! WTFGHFJK!@!!! face it dude, he sucks not only because of his garbage playing, but also because he cant learn for SHIT.
And what ever did happen to the new buttons?? they were “here” almost 2 weeks ago… On the upside, ytwojay and wes seem to be enjoying MY buttons hahaha.
I’d like to venture a guess and say,“who is jaleel white?”
Seriously though,t he reason he’s bad competition isn’t because he can beat us or what not, its what we get after we walk away from the aftermath. When someone like John Choi or Alex Valle beats you, you analyze everything and you realize a possible set of things that, while not entirely wrong about your strategy, need to be worked on: e.g., maybe you jumped too much, or, you didn’t execute a combo/blockstring correctly and so on.
however, the same isn’t true when you play someone like “crow.” When you lose, you know why you lost: stupid tactics that you wouldn’t expect good competition to use, because, well, they don’t. i.e., random supers, mashing on super while you do your mixups/blockstrings, lots and lots of wake ups, and so on. Granted, it’s things you’d have to play against anyways, but not at the recurring rate you get it when playing someone like him. You expect the competition to change things up: to vary everything to keep you on your toes and push your game into the next level. But if you’re the one putting in all that effort just to lose to bs stuff like that, sometimes, then, it forces you to have to retrograde everything you’ve learned in favor of something consistent that probably won’t ever change. (i.e., using sagat and abusing his c.fierce JUST to beat a certain person won’t give you ANYTHING towards working on a character you were already trying to learn well, like, maybe, a shoto or someone other than the top tiers).
DR basically got what i was getting at (and did it with more eloquency than i could have displayed). There is very little to learn from playing any scrub, all you do is merely work on your execution because they will fall for the same trashy tactics EVERY TIME.
allen’s blanka <<<< my blanka???
ALLEN’S DAN >>>>>>> DENTRON?!?!?!?!!
PENIS <<<<< EPNIS!?!?!
ggz vas/digdoug/anus/closetwhiner today, you all own me… ::cries::
due to complaints from david thanos here, im going to respond to his old post, because no one else really has:
indeed it looks sick but then i would have to learn a whole new game/system and its always a huge endevor, besides, im already learning cvs2, 3s, and now tekken 5. cant stop the rock i spose. BTW c.lp, c.lp, c.mk, deadly rave is really really easy… anyone who has posted on this board can do it within 5 tries. Shit i was even doing it on the game you gave to me yesterday.
also thanks to david thanos for JDING my fucking sakura chiping shoken, especially when i was just about to win…
this just in, son of randy lew, aka GTU2 plays 3s too as necro. guess what direction he likes to hold? it’s cool tho. nothin a good denjin won’t handle =P
