Another day in my life
so my roommate is sitting on the couch with his feet on it(and his shoe still on for the longest time. i assume this is why it smells in my room a lot). anusinvasion13’s roommate comes in and sees this(i’m in the kitchen making taco’s with egg and avocado :badboy: ).
for naming purpose imma refer to jack’s roommate as U, cuz his name starts with a U. and imma refer to my roommate as H, which stands for homosexual.

H;i know…well actually it’s technically touching he couch.
U:walks into his room, comes back out actually, can you just take off your shoe, since non of us wears our shoe in the house anyways. this will help keep the carpet clean. uknow…keep the “parasites” off our carpet
H:sits there for a couple seconds and responds relevantly yeah, i think i might take the couch with me when i leave.

one of the next comments he made was “well, there are ways to get him to pay me more money, like electricity bill deposit, and maybe water bills”
so anyways, with that being said…he told me to tell you that he’ll be moving out on the 16th possibly, and that means you can move in on 18th now instead of 19th, however…he wants to kno if you want to pay the rent for before 17th cuz he’ll be moving out earlier than that now…meaning the rent will probably be closer to half the rent if you do. you save $28 if you pay for only 13 days instead of half. however he said he’s gonna charge us for the router if we buy it off him…
anyways he wants to kno what you think of the things he said (except the earlier comments cuz i dont’ think he wanted me to tell you that, but that’s his fault)
I’m not sure, but I think I remember Jack or his roommate saying that utilities are pretty low. What does he mean by “electricity bill deposit?” I don’t think I’ve heard of that before. Anyways, I don’t know why he’s hung up on me paying HIM money, unless he’s in charge of all the utilities. Otherwise, all he has to do is pay only his share. If he already paid utilities, I guess I could pay the difference if an impartial judge can guarantee that I’m paying 13/30 times the month’s due.
As for what I think of the things he said, I need to know if HE moved in after someone else moved out. If so, ask him whether or not he compensated the previous resident for things like “electricity bill deposit, maybe water bill,” or if he paid more than his share of rent. If he didn’t, I’m certainly not going to pay him the courtesy that he denied the guy who left. Aside, if he WAS on the original lease, then that sucks because you can’t guilt trip him or make him feel like an idiot. He needs to realize that I was not trying to be an asshole (but will return the favor if he is), only trying to save money that I didn’t owe since, at the time I thought he was moving out on the 18th, paying half the rent for 12 days seemed unnecessary. If you happen to know that he’s rich, be sure to include a comment about me not having rich-ass parents, having to take loans to go to school, etc. His response might be amusing.
Unless, of course, he was only referring to moving out on the 16th when he wonders what I think. If that’s the case, then we can still assume that all I know I have to pay is a certain fraction of the month’s rent, and we should stick to that story.
Regardless, tell him that I’m not paying rent before the 17th if he’s “possibly” moving out on the 16th. I’m paying when I know exactly how much I’ll owe. That’s simply proper protocol for this sort of thing.
EDIT: I discovered a router that was used in my old apartment in columbia. It hasn’t been used since, but it’s still probably good, and I found the docs online for installation and configuration. I’m going to test it in the next few days to make sure it starts up and whatnot. If it works, then you can tell him to keep the router and I can bring it up this weekend. Then we can switch routers so that you guys can still use the internet for the days before I move in. I hope the cable modem isn’t his as well and you guys own the network cables you’re all using, because I don’t have any spares.

Is Black rex huuuge? Unfortunately, the stuff’s gonna be moved up from san diego, so I don’t know if you’re down with that distance, though it would be a pleasant dream not to have to deal with u-haul.
the utilities is usually around 50-ish…but since the tv cable will be gone before you move in…it should drop to around mid 40s…plus part of the utilties(not all) is gonna be split 5 ways since my bro is living there so the utilities may be around mid 30’s few months or less…the rent amount stays the same…and i have an extra linksys router if it is needed…and for the amount that you would have to pay ‘H’…even if he moves out earlier…you still only need to pay for the days you moved in…the amount wont changed unless you move in earlier…the only deposit that i am aware of at the moment is for the fridge…im not even sure there was a deposit on that or not…and there is a form that you(eliot) need to fill out so we can add you to the lease…and ‘H’ was on the original lease, there werent any previous residents…

when is UCI having a tourney again. i’m moving down to ucsd again and uci is probably closest for me to play 3s. MUTANT!! ANYONE!! throw 3s tourney at uci again… 2on2. me and ironfist
probably not until, at least, the fall quarter starts. First week will probably be too hectic, but second week and on could definitely be viable for a tourney.

Sure, that’d be no big deal, the only problem is, the stick quality may not be so great for a lot of the players. I know there’s some of you already acquainted with p360s, so, switching to 8ways with concave buttons could be a drag for a lot of people. If, despite those conditions, you still want to have one, I’m game. Just give me ideas on time, pot, and, of course, stuff to put on flyers to have out around the zot.
If/when we do have these tourneys, how many people would be interested in entering? I know this thread has a high viewing count, so, anyone willing to come in is welcome. I could take pics of the zot and post ‘em, to give people who havent’ been to it an idea of what the environment’s like. Just don’t expect FF quality arcade If anything, it’s more like UCLA’s arcade, only with cooler people and hotter chicks (cough asian chicks cough) w00t
