if this gto/gtu guy is a chinese guy with glasses, big lips, and a bowl hair cut, and uses ryu/akuma then he’s cool. he’s just learning how to play the game.
the last couple of times (months ago) i played this guy he didn’t charge his meter.
most people just hate his style, he plays like a slut. Now hes at least starting to do stuff like crossup jump ins after a knockdown, but thats about the only time he moves forward.

not only that…the times when i pick up a new game, and i face GTO…he’ll do the same exact patterns over and over(i.e. kaiser wave x40, or c.fwd xx fireballx 2000)…so he’s quiet and just learning the game(learning the game for the last 2+ years), i still think he’s an asshole deep down.
sometimes i watch him play against n00bs and he’ll just do repeated DP for 10+ times in a row.

Hey Allen, what the hell happened to Street Dogs? You would probably know, just based on my assumption that you are the resident Street Dogs afficionado. There used to be a letter taped up to the front door that probably explained what happened, but my roommate says now they’ve just painted all the glass black and I’m not sure if the paper is still up there. Anyone know why it went away?
Ron got a back injury so street dogs will be temporary closed for an “unknown amount of time”.

Best way to beat GTO is to simply block more. Learn to red parry an ex fireball so you can hit him with a reversal. Other than that, i throw out a couple of normals from a safe distance, to get him to start blocking more so i can move in slowly. Also, jumps aren’t the greatest idea if that’s what he’s expecting you to do. Unless, of course, you’ve gut Yun.

Also, have any of you guys tried talking to him? Maybe he just needs some good advice like “quit sucking so much” or “combo is the key” or “try playing a top tier character like Hugo” or whatever it is you guys want him to do.
