How far is this place from cgl? How is the comp? The sticks? Food nearby?
30-40 minutes from cgl, depending on traffic, and competition for marvel as of late has kind of thinned out, however, it’s where kaising and ytwojay play every now and then. The sticks aren’t 360s, but the orders been put in to have them replaced, and the buttons are not concave buttons. As for food, there’s a food court across the way, and a mini-coffee shop no more than thirty feet away.

So, rasputin, you mean that the buttons for marvel are convex? Are you sure about that? I mean, I don’t play the game, but it seems unlikely that SZ would have japanese-style anything.
Oh, and elena’s cross-up isn’t that good, chris. As long as they switch blocking directions quickly, they shouldn’t have any trouble avoiding any combos afterwards, unless you go really really deep, in which case you can do the slow crouching strong and combo. The standing strong is more lenient on the timing, but still hard to do on a standing opponent. It’s probably mostly good for scaring them into blocking on wakeup to do a throw or an overhead once you land.

Seriously though, you did pretty well, both games you got me down to about 20% or less life; and I was using Geese!!! Keep playing and you might like this game more than SF3:3S. I’m becoming less and less of a threat now becuase my gaming is going straight down as of this week for numerous reason: (1) I actually have weekly written homework that requires reading and studying, and (2) I started a job that requires me to get up at 3 am in the morning so I can’t stay too long at the Zot Zone and play, because I have to now balance sleep and homework.
For those of you who think it was mean of me to pick R-4 Geese and use him against Eliot, I picked him before Eliot played me because I was trying to re-learn the c-LP, c-LP, c-MK -> Deadly Rave combo, and was practicing with the CPU. I didn’t actually think he would play me when I asked him to…sorry Eliot.

I think I get to his head sometimes, especially when he seems pissed after playing me. It’s always hard to tell with such a gaping blank look though.
GTO is just a mis understood guy…i’m pretty sure it’s because his english is lacking so he’s quite anti-social…and he doesnt’ even kno what a turtler is…so when you say( behind him )“this guy is a turtler…” he’s like “i’m a turtle?”
one time i was just playing him for fun, like i didn’t care about his turtler…i just tried rushing him down for just kicks…and he didn’t turtle…whenever he knocked me down…he tried to rush me back…i think the way he plays depends on how you play…if you care really badly about winning…he’ll turtle out of habit…if you don’t care and just want to have fun…he’ll well…be a little different MAYBe…

from what i heard/read…mai is suppose to be anti-sagat…so that gives me a good advantage against sagats(if i ever learn why mai is anti-sagat)…
can anyone here play a good a/c groove akuma? he seems to take too much damage to be really effective in any of the less manuverable grooves (a/c).
