-I was the mediocre Ken that you annihilated. I was also the guy who told you to get hit by the Raging Demon just to humor that random Akuma player.
I was the Zangief player and the Balrog player who didn’t fully hit the Ultra. Made me die a little on the inside.

At around noon the jab button came out (not my fault, it was a blanka player) so I just put it back in and it kept working fine.
edit: hey koopa, I’ve been wondering… can you 360 my standing hk’s that I spam with Sagat? I feel as though sometimes I do a crouching hk sweep and you’re able to 360 it… so why can’t you do it to my leg while I’m standing? I really hope you choose your main as gief over boxer because MUGA needs a good gief for practice(if you’re still unsure).

The jab button popped out when I was playing my first game this morning. I wasn’t even abusing it or anything, I don’t mash/overly abuse in any fighting game.(at least…I don’t think I do O_o; ) I was going to go get the maintenance guys(Dan/Marty/whatever) but Allen(warpzealot?) popped it back into place; so it was cool.
Anyway, I mirror-matched popo at around 4:30 with my Guile and managed to beat him 1 round in two consecutive matches. Not a big deal…but its popo’s Guile!:lol:
Still can’t decide who to main and probably wont until the console version gets released and I get some personal playing time with it.
Apparently my gief remains unacknowledged 
Allen, I think the sagat sweep is -6 on block, which is why gief can 360 it. I think standing HK is -3 but the hitbox is so good that gief isn’t in range to punish it when it’s blocked.
pretty sure JWong won a tourney in NY with her, you could check youtube for some strategies.
you know im not big on watching videos or reading strats until ive fooled around with the character. Even then I rarely read strats or watch videos…

In response to the standing HK with Sagat, what Kevin said: -3 on block… so good… can’t 360… etc. Yeah, I will remain with Zangief even when they nerf him for the console. I don’t really care if they make him weaker as long as they give him something strangely new. This way, there won’t be as many Zangief players who choose him simply because he looks big. They will choose him for more than bulking his muscles :sad:!
Edit: I will be at the MUGA after my class, so 4:00 pm and onward, I think. I can’t go earlier, since I’m waiting for someone at my place. Oh, and I forgot to say: Good games to everyone there today. Jack, you and your hurricane kick. You make me cry. Popo, you’re as good as they say. I’ll have to think a lot to find a way to play against E.Honda.

Yeah Good games definitely. I was the guy who mostly played Guile and a little bit of Sagat. I feel like I’ve learned a lot watching and playing against Popo’s Guile with my Guile.
