No, it’s not. Well, it wasn’t. I can’t imagine how many white guys joined all branches after 9/11 with the hope of killing some terrorists. Going into the military is supposed to be kind of an honor thing. Everybody I met when I was in was cool. White, black…whatever the hell ethnicity that guy was with the night-farting problem in basic training*. But I was in the Air Force. No shenanigans like this in that branch, as far as I know.
*Seriously, sounded like somebody was sneaking around our dorm wearing waterlogged sneakers after lights-out.

If the Military is smart, These guys should be made an example out of and punished in every way possible, severely. Something like this shouldn’t even be in the last thing that can go wrong category.

Bullying is as much a problem now as it’s always been. Society isn’t getting worse just because authorities are clamping down on kids’ long-standing, celebrated ability to behave like idiots.

Kid’s will have to grow and learn on their own with guidance.
Locking them into a preset “Act this way and only this way” mindset will just end up creating more broken people then we already have.
It’s hardly celebrated but kids are idiots and no amount of psycho babble or corrective behavioral treatment will change that.
