Yeah man we had a 400% increase on people showing up witch is awesome but we have been playing Street fighter at the moment, we were talking about doing some marvel soon which should be fun, I’ve never really played that much but from what I’m told as long as I have Wesker and Doom on my team I can’t lose lol. I’m glad you had fun though man I would like to go to an EVO event (or any tournament for that matter) sometime soon but getting days off in my line of work is damn near impossible I work 70 hour weeks every week… Doesn’t leave much time for much else.

A.R.K. V is about a month away and we’d love to see all you guys there! We’re expecting about 200 people from ~10 different states (including confirmed attendance from Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, California, and Oklahoma) and are throwing in at least $1400 in bonus pots to support some of our games (including $600 each for AE and UMvC3). It will be on August 25th/26th in Jacksonville, AR with games such as Super Street Fighter IV: AE, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters XIII, Persona 4 Arena, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, Soul Calibur V, Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat 9, and SkullGirls.

the place we usually meet up started closing at 8 o’clock last week so I’m in the works of trying to find a new place for us to play, so as of yet there won’t be any meets untill further notice sorry dude…
Man that sounds like a good time and I would love to go but my free-ness would just make us look bad and waste everyone’s time lol, I doubt my work schedule would even let me participate, one day though I would like to go to a tourny especially a major like that one they look like so much fun! It would be a good learning experience for sure.
If you can’t go, I understand and it’s all good. Life comes first. On the other hand, you wouldn’t be wasting anybody’s time by going to this tournament or any other tournament. Tournaments are about building and supporting the community. You also learn a lot going to tournaments and competing even if you go 0-2. I heavily discourage people in our community from hating on less experienced players that don’t do as well, because I believe that the newer players might have a lot of potential that they just haven’t unlocked yet. In any case, sorry you can’t make it. Maybe next time

Hey guys, I know this is a huge drive for you guys, but KTB is having a get together in Waco. We’re going to rent out the meeting room at the hotel here and get some games in.
It’s next month, plus there’s no venue fees or anything. We’re doing it off of donations, and we’ll have some kinda of food there (probably hot dogs etc), plus we’ll be drinking.
It is limited to 18+ though. I’d really love to see you guys out here, I know its’ a bit of a drive, but you could always get a room at the hotel. I’m working on discount pricing at the moment

You got to come! Rooms are 65 bucks for two queen size beds. So at sixty five bucks divided by four people equals $16.25 a head and you guys have a hotel room for the night.
If you’re having issues with finding someone to room with I can probably find some people for you to stay with since it’s so cheap

Was at Geek World in Tyler today, they have a TV setup with a PS3 and a 360. I talked to the guy running it, and he said it’d be cool and we could start meeting there. Maybe we can group up, throw together a few bucks each, and just play there. It could even help expose the group to more people around the area.
