That would be very much appreciated Mike - I will bring my 360 and a PC setup worst case (not my laptop, an actual PC). We can run the PC on my monitor and 360 on your TV. So that’s two setups right there. And I actually did kind of like the way we had things organized last week, so we will try to do that again.
Hey bro, get a lanyard. I don’t wear my keys on my neck but it sure makes it easier to find your keys. I’ve been using lanyards since high school because I kept losing sets of car keys. My parents would trip on me.
I just have an OCD pocket check. Everytime I stand up I check for my wallet/cellphone/keys. If some are missing I freak out a bit, even if my gf has my keys or something I freak out for a second.

So I’m thinking of throwing some sort of point system together for rankings/seeding in this. Though I don’t have a prize to be won at the end of a certain # of tournaments or something (not yet I guess).

I’ll try that, will probably make more sense.
Really I’m just trying to make sure our brackets come out more balanced, but I think until we’ve ha a good amount of participation regularly for a while (like the 30ish people we have been getting lately) it will have to remain a manual process.
I saw another system where the winner of the tournament got like the total # of entrants in points and everyone else got the number of people that they beat. Not sure if I like a system like that, although it might work if your # of players fluctuates a bit.
Yeaahhhhh about that…I’m out of these for good due to the last eperience. Regarding “30ish people”…good luck with that, with the way things were ran last time, you’ve turned a few people off to wanting to enter for sure.

As long as people show up and want to play, that’s what we’ll be doing. I’m not saying we haven’t had any issues, but I think overall most people have had a pretty good experience and enjoyed Singles. If you have any insight on how horribly you think it was run, perhaps you could offer it. I’m new to this, I will make mistakes but I am working on it.
The bracket will be made earlier next week an I intend to have at least a few people to look at it for issues and to make sure we aren’t missing anything.
For future reference (as told by Best Western), people should smoke out in the FRONT ENTRANCE from here on out. When asked why I wasn’t really told the specifics, but was told it’d be in our best interest to smoke in the front…
Also you can still watch games from the big screen, so how raw is that?
Also I don’t think I’ll be at Singles this go around either.
I would suggest in trying to spread some players out, I wasn’t kinda stunned that I had to run into Mickey that early into the tournament even with portland there.
