I’m a novice when it comes to TvC so I can’t provide in depth input. What I’m most upset about is that the beastly soundtrack is gone. :lame:

I’m very glad they are ditching the engrish announcer for a real english announcer but i’m not sure i like what i’m hearing of the other changes.

Saki’s 236+2 attacks looks to be a bit stronger. In the Japanese TvC, it never really does more than 10K on its own.

English announcer reminds me too much of MvC2. ;(

I’m going to miss the character-specific themes (like XvSF, MvC, and Japanese TvC). I kinda liked the song in the Yatterman stage, though.

It’s nice to see that these changes are coming at us at a faster pace now. Hopefully, we’ll see even more by EVO.

Is that Darkstalker music from a DS character or just a generic DS music theme? Might be a clue of who’s coming as a new character from Capcom side if they’re going to add a char from those series.

Chun could always do this … she just has to cancel the last hit of it normally rather than just any old hit.

If they have Rikuo, Hsein-Ko or Talbain turn up as darkstalker reps, I’m probably going to shit myself with glee or something.

Also, does Morrigan seem stronger to anybody? Her combos are dealing a lot of damage, even if Yatterman has poor defense.

By the way, in that Karas video. The guy playing him seemed to understand his basic combos. Didn’t it look like he was TRYING to do 2C after the first hit of his rekka? I think they took out the ability to cancel into it!

i do agree with you that his infinite should be taken out or ppl just spin out of it like in marvel would be great but his megacrash corner combos are still very powerful not metioning that they lead into his unblockables.

the interview says they are definitely rerecording the VA (lame) doing stage-specific music (lame) and working tirelessly to get online play working (worth all the other bullshit).

i assume the reason they are doing stage-specific music is because A) westerners wont like the japanese songs and B) they don’t want to record new songs for the new characters. i just hope they get this online play working.
