TVC US version character changes (to be updated)

even if they do survive, they do so little damage and stun for such a small amount of time that they ultimately don’t seem useful.

They stun for well long enough for you to dash up and combo or punish with baseball bat etc. Furthermore, they are something that constantly pressures your opponent from behind, and if your opponent tries to jump over them, you hit them with a golf club to turn them into a projectile.

Frank has potential for sure, give him some training mode time, people.

1st vid was pathetic+boring.

Wish I coulda seen more of the 2nd vid! “OH MY GOSH!”

lastly - again, i wish the blade player knew what he was doing more liek in teh trailer vids…

so far, it seems to me that since frank’s moves leave him so open, many mind games will have to be had.

Yeah really, GS, and most game media outlets are fucking terrible at FGs. See anything impressive out of Doronjo in that 2nd vid? How about out of Rock? does that mean they’re terrible? No.

Yeah, at least the vids showing Zero and Joe were good.

found this on gamespot for anyone who wants it.

I don’t really mean to get down on Frank. I tried to like him, i really did.

I was trying to play him like Doronjo honestly. SJ’s, IAD pokes, summons, and general keep away. I saw he could have the damage potential but getting in and actually landing anything is fairly difficult. His normals are all unsafe. Against an even fairly decent player you are gonna get punished pretty badly if you screw up.

But as mentioned, he needs training mode and time, i could be proven wrong. But atm he struggles.

Edit: Don’t know if this has been posted but here is a pretty good video of Blade. Wall bounce ftw.

The only good zombie is a zombie in a shopping cart. It still looks like hits OTG, so that’s why I see one as the only good one.

Ceiling zombie doesn’t look all that useful unless your opponent is super jumping all the time.

Creeper zombie from behind could be useful, but you’d probably have to pressure your opponent to stay grounded.

Yeah, it is true that Frank seems weaker every video that appears, but as how was mentioned previously, GS sucks at showing fighting games and those players don’t have idea of what they were doing, in comparison of japanese gameplay videos, that are showing for real, somewhat of the potential of the characters.

You can take Roll vs Zero GS gameplay video as a example, that video shows maybe the worst gameplay of all, some people would think that Roll isn’t good and that is because the players sucks, but the truth is that we all know the great potential that she has, the same happens to Frank right now. I’m sure that he has potential and only needs some time in training mode to show us how good he is, although it is true that those zombies are double edge swords as I said weeks ago and only the shopping cart Zombie seems useful so far, but we know now that his bat can reflect proyectiles so that’s a good start.

Another thing nobody is doing is using the behind zombies as projectiles. Frank could summon one behind him and then quickly air dash over it. Following the zombie closely from behind, he could then either command grab it to make himself invulnerable if he’s suddenly attacked, or golf it over at the enemy if they’re trying to approach from above.

Also, nobody is using Frank’s air 2C knee drop, ticking into his command grab, and other stuff like that.

frank may seem weaker every vid, but that may just be because weaker players are getting their hands on him. im not worried in the least.

Nice find, that counter looks slick!

Honeslty, from what I have seen so far Frank looks like a really slugish character. Than again, it’s kinda early to come to a complete conclusion.

A quick check: If there are anymore test runs of UAS before the release date could someone check if “Launched opponets on recorvery can still call an assist from the air down”

What I mean by this is: If Ryu launches Casshern and does not finish the combo with a J.C or an air hurricane kick Casshern will flip out of the combo and be able to attack, block, use specials, call an assist before he reaches the ground. I guess it is because Casshern did not actually super jump so he is in normal jump mode on flip out. This means he can dive kick to the ground and call assist on the way down= Broke.

If someone could check this I would love to know if it is still possiable. BTW Uppercuts do the same thing. Morrigans, Chun-lis and Ryus for sure.

If only chuns uppercut didnt suck so much…im better with just j.a as anti air

so will all the characters especially the console exclusives be on the arcade update version as well?

So it’s confirmed that they’ll update the arcade?

I guess if there’s another Loke Test or something, I would like to know if Zero can be Command thrown during his Rekkouha.
Maybe even a Super Version Command throw

EDIT: I guess while I’m at I would like to know about Mega Man’s Level 3. I hope it does at least a little more damage.

If there’s another lok test, I also want to know if PTX can still combo a light riot tackle from a 3C launch.

BTW, Tekkaman Blade’s level 3 is called “Blastor Voltekka”
