Go! Go Go! If You dont know

http://capcom-unity.com/

Final Build…

Any reason why I got IMMEDIATELY kicked from the chat as soon as I logged on?

Squirrel. I was told it was an accident. And you never came back.

Also.

Jwong is a master chef of processed food. Does nothing but serve the same thing up to everyone he plays.

That was awesommmeeeeee.

The chef commentary was amazing.

COTTON CANDY BARBEQUE! RAINBOW CHEF SERVIN IT UP!

Cash Earned never had it so good. Not until he found the GOLDEN MILLION DOLLAR GRILL AND CASH CHOP.

Gentlemen? Shall we?

And yeah I had major problems getting onto that chat. I had to make like 3 accounts lol.

But yeah, this game…is awesome and exciting and all that stuff. Even watching that laggy feed I was pumped up. And effing hell Jwong was being ruthless to those poor noobs.

Jwong was serving up a GUY ON CRUTCHES.

Soo soo cruel.

Yatterman-2 Is officially out of TVC UAS
how many characters is that???

I don’t miss the character themes at all anymore btw. The stage specific music just adds a whole new feel to the game. Makes it seem faster and more badass. I can understand why they did this to appeal more to western audiances who would be less nostalgic about these themes. But maaaaan…This is just the kind of music I like in fighting games.

and OMG SAKI’S UNBLOCK BULLET DOES NOT LAUNCH GIANTS.

Too bad Saki’s UB Bullet is still hella retarded.

It’ll always be retarded, but at least it does less damage too.

I am actually slitghly less pumped because I know that all the people posting here are all the “Good” comp i will have outside of the scene I build. I mean how hard is it to launch and combo? I mean you have to never played a fighter before to be as bad as some of those people. And J-Wong, man I mean, make that money but, the way he plays the game is like it is boring and shitty. But it is what ever. This will pass and the game will drop and my baby is due soon…

I should of never watched the stream, they never even announced the 26th. No one used Baroque except J-wong the same way with every character. It looked dull and I wanted it to look hype. Well I hope to see all those leveled up a little more when the US release is out. The gameplay really does not look change much at all really. It is the same old TvC, that does make me happy.

Are you joking? That stream was mad exciting even with all the noob players and Jwong being simple.

I even thought Jwong was interesting enough to watch. He was using Joe the Condor and laying on plenty of counters, rope attacks and doing all sorts of stuff like that besides just combo into baroque. At one point he even baroqued a Joe counter into an air combo, which I thought was pretty clever considering we don’t know all that much about Joe yet.

Dude he countered that guy 4 times in a row and on the 4th he finially baroqued. That is not hype that is simple. That is like saying “Ohh someone baroqued one of franks zombie summons OMG I never knew.” We all know a lot about the system and how baroque works. I was not hyped about it at all, but that is me and I wanted more, a lot more. I did not learn anything “NEW” at all. It did not seem like people really were into the game at all. Jwong seemed meh about the whole thing. Never really hype about it.

Edit: I never even got to hear someone talk about the game, I know I missed alot between taking work calls and bathing the kids but I never got to hear them say that 25 was the final number or anything. Maybe I miss a lot and that is why I am less hyped. The gameplay was “dubious at best” (to use a quote from you) and I missed all the people talking about the game so I am a lot less hype than the rest about it.

The fact that he was using the counter at all means that he wasn’t just doing combos into baroque, but was attempting to show off a few of the character’s major points. Keep in mind that Justin was mostly playing Jun/Chun, who are both really simple characters. Another thing to remember is that Jwong is known for having an unorthodox play style. He plays really simple and really safe, doesn’t go for flashy stuff and isn’t shy to throw away meter to finish opponents off with level 3’s. that’s how he’s been playing TvC this whole time and I see he hasn’t really changed.

You really can’t expect much from something like that though. It’s mostly new players who’ve never seen the game before, and Jwong who was fighting using the most basic style so as to show off the general idea of how you play the game. The point was to get people familiar with the game, not make a combo video.

The first time I picked up TvC, I had a hard time adjusting to the timing of juggles. And I’ve been playing Melty Blood before then, which is a very juggle-intensive game. TvC does take a little while to get used to at first, so you can’t really blame these new players for not knowing what to do.

Regardless of that, we got to see new stage themes and stages. We got to see that Saki can’t knock giants down with bullets anymore. We learned that minigames are out in favour of wifi play, we learned that the interface has been changed. We learned that Frank West can grab giants and that his zombies also can grab giants. We learned that Joe the Condor’s battering ram kick has super armour. We learned that Ippatsuman’s Zord’s basic attacks seem faster (though I’m not sure about this, maybe you can confirm/disconfirm it if you saw it?)

I dunno, I felt it was worthwhile and I was hyped the whole time.

Saki- Missed
Mini games- Missed
Change to interface-Missed
Frank west info who did not know this already? Doronjos purple goon grabs gianst right. Alex, Morrigan, Saki. I am trying to say I missed it but knew it already.
Condor’s Kick-Missed
Ippatsumans Zord- who cares the lvl 3 is useless unless someone other than me says so.

As you can tell i missed a lot/was not watching much. From what I saw really really meh. All the things you mentioned could of been shown in one vid right? Not 3 hours worth of Jwong and scrubs!!! All I am saying is I was not hyped by this, so that is me, if you were then great on you but know that Jwong’s play style is straight out of Feb 09, nothing we should still be looking at, right?

Can’t we all just be thankful for what we know now? I didn’t even get to see the stream (was out running errands all day) and just reading all of these new changes are a big surprise to me. I’m thankful for those who watched the stream and provided all of this new intel. I think I got hit hardest by Saki’s unblockable shot nerf against giants.

Sure, One Experienced Player + TvC newbies ? “Hype”, but from what I read, at least an he was trying to show off some awesome stuff with Condor Joe.

I say just wait for the game’s actual release; any upcoming events prior to the release will serve as additional hype buffers and opportunities for us to learn more before anyone else.

Doronjo’s henchmen DO NOT grab giants in CGoH and probably not in UaS either.

We all had fun watching the stream. Right now we’re lucky to have ANY info on this game let alone a good solid stretch of actual gameplay. If you didn’t enjoy it then that’s your problem. Pers

H-Hey! Jwong lost ONE of his characters. Some of players arent COMPLETE scrubs.

I enjoyed the stream. Mostly because of the chat and not the players.

You cant really expect to pull a lot of info from a stream like this simply because of how it is. Trying to really gauge what’s new and whats possible and what’s different down to the very detail using only a live stream is kinda like looking down into a stadium and figure out who is wearing this very specific outfit with a specific style of hair. Did I mention you’re doing this from a blimp with a weak telescope?

I can understand people being hype, but save the intensive data research for launch. I know I am, because on launch, first thing I’m going for is frame data for Megaman, as well as combo research and character statistics.

question. Is the guy playing at about 20:00mins in with a jun/chun team Jwong?

because if he is, he lost one match to a Ryu/Saki player.
