TvC Live Feed C-Unity

Now I know you not putting my pic up without giving credits to the creator :nono:

Haha, 's all good. I was really psyched to see the new stages Capcom threw into the game. Who’s spamming Training Room and Frank’s Mall with me?

There is no one else!! We are it, could you not tell. No one was trying anything at all let alone getting into the game. If you want to find out info before “anyone else” then I can tell you right now… Mission is complete. If you know when it comes out, what system it is for and that it is an american release then you are ahead of “anyone else” ok?

The only thing that dropped my hype was that if this was a showing about SSF4 then all kinds of shit whould have been shown, along with other stuff not being shown as to let the competive scene figure stuff out. This was not any kind of that, and in my eyes the TvC scene deserves just as much as the SF4 scene. Capcom would got out of their way to have yipes there to help s-kill on the mic. That is another thing, no one really said anything about the game really, no one talked about Baroque or Mega Crash or DHC or VHC. I mean it was a shell of what people should of expected and that is why I am less hype.

There is no problem, I was just not hyped by this, instead I was let down by the level of hype that was there. Or lack there of. Sorry if that hurts you Sheer but I now know I will not be able to play you either so that is one less person I will have to play on a Decent level. If there were like 5 people that were giving Jwong a hard time then I would be hype, but that is not the case.

Edit: I guess that would look a little funny if the purple good could grab them, I did mean to put a question mark behind that also, as I really did not know if they could. But casshern’s B friender grabs and all command grabs work so as I said, that much we really knew already. And, how are we lucky to have “ANY INFO ON THE GAME AT ALL AT THIS POINT?” This is the second most hype game on the wii in 2010. (in the us) It did not get this way because people are not looking for info. That comment is just… We should have gotten more and anyone who is actually working to make a scene for this game “might” agree.

I understand your pain. I watched about 30 minutes of the live stream and did not find it interesting at all. I think the problem is expectation. Those of us who have been playing the game for a year, didn’t see anything interesting and no new information was passed along. I think we all wanted that. The event was probably great for those in attendance. I wish Capcom would have done some interviews of the attendees as well as maybe pass on some information. A high-level exhibition match would have been even better. Watching Justin beat down players who likely did not have any experience with the game does not build hype.

What did get me hyped was seeing Joe the Condor and Zero being played. Joe definitely has my attention and Zero looks to be a blast. Now that Capcom has built some hype for non-fans, it’s time for them to crank it up for the fans.

^^^ Dude everything you post is like music to my ears!!! I think I have a man crush. (My BF will be so mad at me) Where you from on some No Homo shit??? Are you on Gf as well and are you in the hardwire thread? I think you are and I think I will have a great time playing you…

Dude for real this kid speaks the truth!!!

I’m on GameFAQs mostly due to trying to convince people to get the ethernet adapters. I was a doubter until I wired my PS3 and saw how much better fighters are with a wired connection. I’m in Oklahoma City and there’s not much of a scene here. This will be the first Versus game I really try to learn so I may not be much of a challenge at first but I will improve. I am ordering Sanwa parts for the TvC stick tonight and I may order the stick from Gameshark.com soon.

I didn’t watch the stream but yea, pretty much.

Fight club was pretty much the same way. Except whenever the street fighter crowd couldn’t get on a Street fighter setup they would come play TvC. Besides me and the people i play with all the time that went i didn’t play anyone good. I lost once or twice the whole night and didn’t see any high level demo play.

We are almost less then 3 weeks away from release and the interest in the game is still low. It’s growing a little but not enough to receive any worth while attention. Everyone that enjoys this game is just going to have to face the facts that the community will not be as large as Street Fighter 4, Marvel, or Tekken. But i think it would make a more intimate community thus being able to easily share much more knowledge, strats, tips, and the likes. It might be for the best in all honesty.

Just keep playing and share with the community. =D

looks like it. That sucks oh well I tried. Well like I said before it was the end of the road. If peeps want to see the same thing they been seeing for more than 15 years I can’t hate. I said I was done anyway after TvC (gaming wise) so I’m going to do my thing.

It’s not about the size of the community; it’s about the dedication. I’m a long-time SNK fan which is hard because most people in the U.S. don’t play those games. I see TvC falling into the same category. Luckily, the game is online so we should be able to sustain a community through that if nothing else. Like I said, it’s all about dedication. If we all play the game frequently and use this forum as a meeting point, we can create a good community.

In an effort to hype KoFXII, post-patch, I held an online tournament on Destructoid.com and provided prizes. 15 people signed up and a few decided that KoF is a series they should look into. TvC needs that sort of effort. We need to get people to give it a chance.

The Melty Blood community has a strong scene as well and as you said so do SNK games, i see this game going down the same road. You will have a large group of hardcore fans/players. But 9/10 of those people will be top quality players, so you will only play and complete against other top quality players. Which will help you grow much faster.

I’m gonna lay down the cold hard FACT. The number one reason this game isn’t taking off is because it is on the Wii. Yup. That’s pretty much sums it up. I personally did not think that many people didn’t have a Wii.

The second reason reason it isn’t is that it’s not SFIV.

Yatter 2 is in LOL. HYYPPEEE

Could not agree more!!! I really did not know that people looked at this system like it will hurt your rep bar?<------ Old I know…

That is why I am trying to get that team league going. Because if one person has a wii and 3 people like the game and one of them a decent connection for as little as a $50 buy in you could level up all month long against other comp that is willing to pay to play ohters on thier level or better than them. I know money is the only thing that really drives the gamers now but hell money is not all that hard to come by so if that is what is going to people involved I am down to try!!

I really thought many people had Wii’s. The sales say that a whole lot of people have them. Yet no one is playing this game???

I will agree that Nintendo needs to stop catering to the casual market and start focusing more on hardcore gamers.
