Ibuki, no, Deejay, yes. Deejay’s wake up kicks (his charge down + up K) are all whiffed when SSB’d, and u1 catches them when they go behind it’s hard to punish if you SSB unless it’s done prematurely, it depends. Some wake up with Sobat kicks, but it really doesn’t have that much inv iirc. SSB on Deejay, though, not Ibuki. She’s stupid, sometimes you still get hit on your way back, requires timing.

EX Dread Kicks I believe has 4 frames of invincibility and regular dreadkicks have high invincibility until it’s active.

To be honest deejays wake ups are so shit you can just meaty cr.lk or cr.lp him and bait his Invincibility moves all day and if he back dashes it’s a free st.hp.

dudley beats the shit outta deejay but that’s just my opinion… I haven’t met one deejay to beat me online or offline in like forever. If you get EX bar his fire balls become useless cause of EX duck=free grab/combo and him dead.

When you have ultra 1 the mu becomes 65-35 your adv.

The only scary thing deejay has is his knee shot pressure and sweep which you can just focus both or st.lp his knee shot if you anticipate it or cross counter his knee shots when they become predictable.

Deejay is probably the only character where I don’t need SSB to confuse him cause if he wakes up anything I can kill him for it.

if we keep jet upper frame data in 2012 we will really destroy deejay since if we block his cr.mk that hardly does any pushback on block we will be able to mash MP Jet upper for a punisher since cr.mk is -5 and our new mp jet upper covers the most range and it’s a 5 frame DP.

I just use cr.hk against knee shots, just have to make sure it’s not too deep

I highly doubt you can tag Dee Jay from a well spaced sweep with strong jet upper on block. As I don’t have the game, I can’t test it, but you should see if you can hit it with Shoryu’s before we make the jump to Jet Uppercut.

You can’t in ae but will be able to since MP jet upper will be 5 frames. Only time you can’t do it is when his cr.mk hits you at the end of his foot.

You talking about stuffing or blocking 4 frame reversal dp? Wouldn’t you still have to worry about the 5 or 6 frames of recovery? 5 if last active frame also counts as first recovery frame.

wtf are you saying? c.lk is a 6f recovery so no matter how meaty you do it, you’re still recovering in 6 frames. a 4f reversal will catch that guaranteed.
