TTT Resurrection Tournament - SSFIV:AE, MvC3 and MK (June. 18th @ 1p)

TTT Resurrection: Alpha

Hey everyone, it’s that time again. TTT would like to provide you a great tournament experience and we do feel that we have done that in the past tournaments we’ve done. The name of the tournament is based on SSFIV’s revival with AE having been released. I’m sure this game will blow up once it comes to the players hands. Let’s also call this a pre-evo practice Tournament. A & C world has graciously offered their new place for this tournament. Hats off to them.

I’ll hopefully be there!

Name of the tournament has been changed:

TTT Resurrection: Alpha - I didn’t come up with it so don’t ask.

Miles: Thanks for the sticky. As always, we try our best.

How does one change the Name of the thread in this new forum?
I clicked on edit and there was no option.
Anybody familiar?

NeoRussell

I’ll try my best. I’ll probably play all games but i expect to do better in MvC3.

Can’t wait!

NeoRussell

yeee count me in for this

I’ll probably be there. Liable to be lying as always.

ill be there

Is there also A&C’s entry fee of $5 on top of tournament entry fee?

Can’t use location as an excuse for not making it, this will be my first tourney.

Venue fee is $10. Tournament Fee per game is $10. Lots (I mean lots) of casual stations for you to play with other players if you do lose early in the tourny.
Please do come for the tourny. A tournament is the best place to level up.

NeoRussell

I used to remember when trailers actually had impressive/cool game footage. Now its just random dropped combos and combos that look like combos but don’t really combo and flashy intros

Teddy: You make a good point. We’ll take that into account for next tourny trailer. We certainly have a lot to learn and players pointing this out is greatly appreciated. I’ll record actual people this time around to be used in future trailers.

NeoRussell

PS3 MK9 = bad idea. I learned this weekend that MK9 lags like a bitch for no reason on PS3. Just wanted to bring up the point.

Looking forward to the next one.

Vince: The majority of the community plays on PS3 so I can’t force them to use a 360 controller. There’s two stages i’m aware of that lags. I’ll make sure they don’t play on it.

NeoRussell

It lags in general and especially on those two stages specifically, and trust me from what I saw/played it’s bad enough to affect gameplay.

Vince: I can’t help it all together. Like I said, the majority of the MK community uses PS3. Every tournament in the States so far uses PS3 and has minimal to no concerns about lag. We will be using PS3 and just keep an eye out on the stages that lags.

NeoRussell

In the states, tournaments just avoid using those stages like neo is saying and even when they are playing in mvc3, they are encouraged to play in the danger room (training stage) because of the lower frames demanded by the stage so this happens on all systems. UFGT played on ps3 and so did the mk9 pdp tourny from what I recall. (correct me if Im wrong on the pdp tourny)
