Yeah, that’s what they should have been or they could have gone with The American Werewolf in London model, ANYthing, but regular real wolves. Hell, in a lot of scenes the look kinda cute instead of the violent V-Crazed killer psychos they’re supposed to be :bluu:

I kinda agree. I’m a dog person so when I see these regular wolves walking around wagging their tongues and sniffing around and such, it doesn’t exactly inspire fear. 
The worst part is that people some fans of this show on various sites were talking mad shit to Twilight for using “real wolves” and about how True Blood was going to “do it right”…only for the Twilight wolves to look like they’d eat the ones in True Blood. Guess those people never read the Sookie Stackhouse books or they’d have already been prepared for the epic fail.
She’s not that old. Like Satomi said she’s around Bill’s age. So she’s younger than everybody except Jessica. If I remember correctly she was on the show early last season. I remember her, her funny name Nan and her position in vampire society, it’s been a long time since she’s been on. She just has so much authority because she’s the spokesman for the entire vampire community.
As of now Russell’s punk ass is the oldest. The only thing at this point that can be older than Russell is like some caveman vampire or Sumerian type individual. A Sumerian would be cool actually.
Perhaps the weres will evolve into lycans or something similar. It would make sense. I mean, what would be the point to having them on if they’re going to get peaced out by vampires every fucking time. But I have a feeling that the weres will be gone once Russell dies. Then again, I haven’t read the books. Maybe I’m wrong.

There is more than one king. There’s kings all over the world and different regions apparently. I only read the 8th book, but from glancing over other book synopsis’ and just looking around I know there is a King of Arkansas who’ s gay IIRC. He has a “wife” some other dude vampire. There’s King of Nevada, Felipe from last season. I can’t remember all the states with kings off the top of my head though. I don’t know how old they are either.
So basically there are other kings but Russell is trying to the top dog and make others either bow down or bow out?

Vampires don’t want to eliminate humans. That’s like saying humans want to eliminate cows and pigs. He wants to subjugate his food, and put humans in their rightful place on the food chain.

Vampires get stronger as they age, I’m thinking it’s as simple as that. The longer time spent as a vampire the stronger their power and experience gets. I don’t think they level off, they just keep getting stronger until they die.
so would a 5000 year old vampire be able to hurl trucks. go so fast that they can move through time and bullets would bounce off their chest?
I read that TB vampires are more vulnerable to sunlight the older they are. Basically, Bill, Pam, and Nan would last longer in the sun than Eric, Godric, or Russell.
