In any type of combat rating russel seems to own Godric, age, minions, money.
But Godric was just a cooler dude, and more badass. He had more of an “everyone in the room knows i can rip your spine out right now” vibe and he used that instead of, you know actually ripping mofo’s spines out.

Godric is over 2,000 years old. Really, writers have said he’s closer to Russell than it seems, which was a rewrite anyway (in the book Godric is older than Russell is, IIRC).

Well for one thing, i’m pretty sure they live in a huge redneck town. its just bar fight, no one is calling the cops. and two…i’m pretty sure aside from all the vampires and werewolves that are obviously true to life…it’s a tv show, the cops aren’t coming to press assault charges.
